Hey guys im close to jumping in feet first into the Razr M and I have a few questions.

1) Any iphone users switch to the M? Wondering how you feel overall about the switch. Goods / bads? Im sure I want Android over IOS (its bored me to death) just wanna make sure the Razr M is the phone to get :)

2) Ive read on 1 review that the M's notification light only blinks when you have low battery. I think thats wrong. Can anyone confirm that itll blink when you get other notifications and texts?

3) Anyone install widgetlocker? Does it work well with the M?

I think thats it...thanks everyone!

2) the light blinks for pretty much everything you want it to, and it works perfectly with light flow, giving you great control over it. The review you read is just wrong.

Awesome thanks guys...one more question...does it go into dock mode or show lock screen while charging? I hate that moto didn't make a proper dock with it.

Lemme know

Thanks!

1. i never had an iphone. my roommate who does couldnt put the M down when i first got it home. he stated the only reason he wouldnt get one is his work computer is a mac and like the compatibility.(horrible excuse)
2. It blinks for all my notifications.
3. when charging it retains all accessibility as normal.
great phone!

I also confirm that the notification light is great. The viewing angle on it is especially good. You can see it from basically anywhere and there are also a lot of colors if an app allows it.

One thing I noticed is that there is no notification light on when charging... I'm not sure if I can change this or not and it's not really an issue, but something worth noticing that is different from a lot of phones.

Just got the Razr M yesterday, coming form an iphone 4. Before the iphone, I had an Evo (horrible battery life and too freakin' huge) and the Evo kind of turned me off to Android because all of the phones were huge and had horrible battery life.

To me, the Razr M is the only phone I would consider in Verizon's lineup to be comparable to the iphone simply because of the form factor. It is the perfect size, and still maintains a 4.3" screen. I had no intentions of buying this phone when I went into the Verizon store, but once I held it and saw the size of the screen, I had to get it. 4G is crazy fast, and the phone packs a big enough battery to stay right on par, or better than my iphone 4 (so far).

The glaring downside is mostly in the camera. The iphone 4, even though only a 5mp camera, takes really nice photos. The Razr M just isn't on par with the iphone camera. And the display is not HD, only like 225 ppi vs. the iphone 300-somthing ppi. This doesn't bother me, the display still looks really nice.

The LED light seems to blink for text, email, etc. and I have been reading that there are apps that can even extend this for other apps and let you change the colors etc. So far I am very impressed with this phone, it is a really nice phone to hold in your hand, we will see what happens in the next week or so, I bought it keeping in mind that I could return/exchange it within 14 days.
