Root [CDMA/SHOOTER][ROM] Unofficial CM10 for Shooter Alpha

It seems to be a Gingerbread CM, only with a silly looking font, as far as I can make out.

You could not be more wrong.

no it is not GB with silly little font. It is JB. AOSP. Runs much better than CM

^What he said!

How does it run better? I've never run an Evervolv ROM, but I've always liked CM since CM7 on my Triumph ha.

It is as close to AOSP as we are going to get. None of the CM hacks/issues. Very good devs working on this. If you do some research, you just may find it. I think it runs great.

Curious question, why does the GSM EVO have a working camera but the CDMA one doesn't? Arent both roms based on CM 10?

JMZ has not included the camera fix for this build yet. He has stated above that he will update this one more time with the camera fix before going to Evervolv. Just because they are all CM10 doesnt mean anything. These are not official builds coming from CyanogenMod source tree. I can personally name 3 different CDMA CM10 builds by different developers. JMZ is the only one building specifically for the VM Evo V.

I cant wait to try Evervolv out... CM is kind of played out anyways, it would be nice to have something new..

Try it out then. Here is where you can find the nightlies. I know that JMZ is working on the VM version, but you can still flash the Sprint Evo 3D version. The one you are looking for is codenamed Neco-Shooter. The official VM version will have a different codename when it is built.

Make sure you flash jellybean gapps. No support will be provided for this here at this time, so flash this at your own risk. You will also want to keep conversation about this out of this thread. I am just posting this as a one time thing for you all to try and see what it is about. No camera, mms, 4G, or 3D. Everything else is working though. Enjoy.

JMZ, if you mind this being here let me know and I will remove it.

It looks exactly like stock JB, except with a 6 bar signal (which can be changed to 4).

Is it just me or does JB look better than ICS that was on it?

To me everything just looks so clean and smooth, makes me sad to fill it with widgets and test it for a day.

Edit: Hmm, the stock browser acts like Chrome (with the "panics" when it shows those weird lines).

Edit 2: Also, for some reason, headphones don't work?

Yeah. I like the look of JB better than ICS even though the changes are subtle.

I don't know about the audio. I went back to DT CM10 lol
