A little detail to preface my glitch/problem. I leave my S3 in a locker all day while I am at work, 12 hours. The locker room is in a large concrete building and I get little to no reception. My last phone would often be dead at the end of my shift because it was continually looking for a signal.
So today was the first day I took my S3 to work and left it in the locker. It did have a full charge. At the end of my shift I checked and the phone was powered off. I assumed, just like my last phone it had spent the day trying to find a signal and eventually ran out of power. The problem is I couldn't get it to power back on. I tried the home button, nothing. I tried a quick press of the power button as well as holding it in for a few seconds, nothing. This was the first time my phone had been off since I got it and thought maybe the battery was so dead it needed to be plugged in before it would power back up. So, I plugged it into my car adapter and still nothing. no charging indicator and still not able to power on.
I ended up getting home, taking the battery out, put it back in then it powered up. The odd thing is the battery was not dead it still read 58%. Another odd thing was I now had key clicks turned on. I hate it when every time you select something it beeps so that is one of the first things I turn off on new devices. Somehow it turned itself on.
Anybody heard of anything like this?
