I have seen rumors that the OTA .246 will roll out starting this evening in "spurts" till it's done so everybody should be getting it soon now.

Rumors are true. It was NOT an auto push for me, or my wife, though. Had to settings > updates > etc... But found it 10pm Pacific.

I thought I was going to have to wait much longer for this update, at least a few days. I can also confirm that the update update is now available. Had to manually check in the system settings.

After reading the many recent posts about the OTA I turned off WiFi, went to settings-aboutphone-updates, and there it was waiting for me! For those interested, I recently went from the .232 leak back to .905. Hope my download/installation doesn't hit any snags!
After 10 minutes I am at 0% and "downloading will resume." Hope this works!
Update: rebooted, stuck at 0% again, rebooted, download started, disabled Juice Defender (to maintain data connection when screen was off), download froze a few more times but I left it alone, download finished over an hour later, install took just a few minutes. My battery took a big hit this morning, but everything seems fine. Loving ICS!

I've been very critical about this phone, here is to hoping it resolves my issues. So far I'm loving the new look and feel.

... and if you had just waited ... they would have pushed it onto your Bionic in the background ... then they would give you a message asking if you wanted to install it now or wait.

Thanks. Hindsight is 20/20. But since I can download it no problem, and my problem seems to be in the install process itself, kind of a moot point.
Edit: I can download it NOW no problem. Last night was a different story. Lol. It DID continue to download the update after stalling sometime after I went to bed.

Completing the picture ... since you stated in another thread that you are root-ed ... I suggest you ask the people at Bionic - All Things Root - Android Forums for suggestions.

So you have to be on 905 to get the update? I'm really not willing to bother with the work of flashing again, I'm over Motorola at this point. Few more days and the Galaxy Note II will be out. I've been on ICS for months and it's nothing special on this phone.

Got my OTA ICS update first thing this morning. It wasn't automatic for me either. I had to manually check for updates. Once it installed, I immediately performed a Factory Data Reset. Everything seems to be running smoothly.

Got it this morning happy to say. Can anyone recommend an app to check the clock speed? I am just curious if I was bumped up to 1.2 or not. Either way enjoying the upgrade

I got mine!
The update came down this morning at work and finished by lunchtime.
Performed an FDR afterward as recommended and it all looks great!
Hell of a long wait, but I'm glad Google/Moto made good.
Now to wait for my lapdock to arrive so I can check out some Webtop 3.0!

Nope, just grabbed the original one.
I might be applying some hardware hacks to it, so I didn't want anything TOO nice. Maybe doing the same trick others have done with one of the small Android sticks that are available like the MK808 or something similar.
I've been looking at some videos featuring the Lapdocks.
Versatile stuff if you know how to use it.
