Root NEW!! Boost/Sprint FF27 Update Rooted Final Ver{8/1/12}

Just noticed something yesterday after flashing this to my phone..

It seems after my phone "sleeps" for a extended period of time my wifi disconnects..when i unlock the phone i can see it reconnecting to wifi from 3g..

If it locks for a short period of time it stays connected, it only seems to happen if its locked for a extended period..never did this before.

Is there a setting to change this? I dont see anything in the menu. I would prefer to keep connected to wifi since it saves my battery.

Anyone else have this "issue"?

Go to settings, wireless & networks, wifi settings, hit the menu button and choose advanced, select wifi sleep policy and set to never.

Im updated to 2.3.6. I have ff27 baseband and build. My wifi works fine. I do however have a problem ever since the update. My photo gallery is now distorted/blurry. and when i view a single pic the bottom where the delete, share etc. buttons are is all whited out. everything is all choppy. Anybody know anything about this and how I can fix it. I use my camera alot. Thanks

I haven't noticed this, but I have noticed it always switching from 3g in green to cdma in white, before it stayed 3g green all the time. I think this is because they added something to limit our Data usage, but the biggest problem for me is the wireless location doesn't work anymore. I don't like to use GPS so it has my Weather and other things all screwed up, really blows goats. I changed a setting somewhere in some program on the ro.wireless_network blah blah or something like that from false to true, not sure if it helps but it did seem to cut down on the issue you are having a little. When I find it again I will post it and maybe someone can verify if it helps. I used a program that showed it defaulted at false.

im trying to install and i keep getting md5 mismatch in the script, i already downloaded the zip 3 times thinking maybe something went wrong while downloading but kept getting the md5 mismatch.

Strtrcr87, I have found it is easy to get this type of error. Sometimes, I have to use a smaller sd card. For some reason my 32gb / class 10 does not work well for flashing. However, I notice that sometimes when you download load a zip file from the dropbox it will require you to unzip it one time then place the that folder that contains other zips in the CWM/backup folder. I installed the Sprint FF27 over the weekend. It works and seems to be flawless. And thanks to whomever uploaded this file for us...

Then boot into cwm and restore it. Follow the instructions please.

i am new to all of this and really need some help, my question is... is there a way where i can replace everything on my phone the way it was except for the unroot part after i root my phone with the "FF27 Update Rooted File". basically i want to keep things the way they're and have my phone root at the same time like how superoneclick did before the 2.3.6 update ty.
