Can anyone explain why my daughters sms messages show her phone's email address when I receive them? Others show just their phone # but hers shows #@virginmobile.ca. This means I cannot just reply to her messages. Is this something her phone is sending out?

I think your daughter is sending you text messages through data. You can do that using your carrier account so that you don't use up credits.
