I am using a LG Nitro with ICS. I can log into my home router (Netgear with WPA-2) just fine. Have tried to log in to hospitals, McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, library, whatever, with no success. On any free hotspot, no matter what I do, as soon as I am connected, I get bumped off, and wifi is turned off on my phone!!! I have to go through settings etc. to turn it back on, and if I try to connect, the same thing happens. If I go through this in a public hotspot and return home, my wifi is still off, and I have to turn it on and login to my home network. This is annoying. I am beginning to wonder if ICS is the culprit, or if Lookout is trying to "protect" me.
I amy be sorry I upgraded to ICS...
Please help if you can. I think I have seen where others have the same problem, but only get smart alec answers. May be a n00b problem, but we were all n00bs at some point...
