Help Kies Update issue

Hi,

I never have been able to connect my Tab 2 with the cable to my PC (Win XP SP3 and Win 7) but I was able to connect to Kies through Wi-Fi till I upgraded the Kies software.

After the update, it just keeps saying that the connection is not stable while I am able to browse/use apps without a problem and just does not allow me to transfer files.

I have a hard time with Kies as it is on Wi-Fi (It takes more than 10 mins to copy a video of 600 MB) now, even that is not possible.

I have a lot of photographs and videos on my tab 2 that I want to copy to my computer but there is just no way! :(

I had problems launching Kies after d/l and installing it. But I just needed to get the drivers for my XP SP3 laptop. After that, I uninstalled Kies (don't even know what it's supposed to offer) but I can still transfer files between PC and GT2 via the supplied cable.

Another alternative is to just put the files on the sdhc card and then copy it your pc if you have a card reader.

Where did you get the drivers? I tried all possible options but it (XP) just doesn't recognize this as a mass storage device.

I don't have a card reader so that's ruled out. Drop Box is the only option left but it takes a lot of time to sync the amount of data I want to copy.

Please let me know where did you download the drivers from and I will give it a shot.

I just d/l'd Kies. I read that in another post, said that's all that was needed, then uninstall Kies. Since I couldn't launch Kies - it just froze - I did just that, then uninstalled Kies.

Another solution from someone was to install Windows Media Player 11
