no... check my thread... people here on the evo v forums on my thread for paranoid android have mms working... this is a sprint evo 3d rom but mms is working on evo v virgin mobile...
heres my thread... http://androidforums.com/evo-v-4g-a...25-10-12-jb-4-1-2-paranoidandroid-2-50-a.html

I'm about to downgrade my HBOOT as I speak to try this ROM out. As Jmz said, the issue is a code issue (aka settings in apn-conf.xml are correct), so whatever the Lens_flare or the PA team did to the source code fixed it. Also, noting the changelog in your OP- he did another update to that (second 10/25/12 update) that apparently has MMS completely fixed (not sure if Sprint people were having issues with sending too). If this ROM does indeed work, I have a new daily. :D

Don't really care for 4G and I've dealt with CM beta builds as dailies before, no biggie. :p

But sadly, this did not fix it. MMS sending is NOT working. But it's a wonder that it receives MMS! :D One step closer to a daily AOSP driver!
look over at my thread... someone posted a modified build.prop and asked people to test it... its supposed to let you send mms... testing it now

Head to the paranoid android thread download the mms. Apk go to system/apps rename the mms. Apk there to mms.apk.backup copy/paste the new mms.apk from your sd card that you downloaded, change permissions to rw--r--r or however the thing is then.... Profit you can receive but not send mms.

I tried using a sense mms. Apk unfortunately it did not work so that option is out. If anybody else wants to push off this work, be my guest

Hello guys. I got mms working by just changing the mms settings inside the text msg app and using the address above mentioned. --> "http://mmsc.vmobl.com:8088/mms?"

Open txt message app> Settings > Multimedia Messages (MMS) > Connection Settings
Change Name to : V-Mobile MMS
Change MMSC to: http://mmsc.vmobl.com:8088/mms?

I tested sending an mms to myself and to a friend and both worked receiving and sending as well.

Hopefully this help guys.
-Im using the Mobsterz/unSENSEable V1.1 Rom-

That's a Sense based rom, correct? MMS DOES work on Sense roms, not AOSP.

please understand that mobsterz/unsenseable and other sense based roms do not need an mms fix... mms works perfectly on sense roms... this is a thread for fixing aosp and aokp roms which we cant use mms with... please read at least the op before you post...

To clarify- Senseless =/= AOSP. AOSP is from the Android Open Source Project, which is basically stock Android straight from Google. Stuff the Nexus devices run. Also what CyanogenMod and AOKP are based off of.

Senseless is based off of Sense builds (such as the stock Virgin Mobile ROM) from HTC, but with MOST of the Sense elements removed (you'll still notice a few Sense bits, like the Camera app, 3D functionality, etc). Also the reason why Senseless ROMs work perfectly for our phone.

However, it's impossible to truly de-sense a ROM unless you manage to decompile ALL of the code/get source for the Virgin Mobile ROM. Sense is a very large addition to Android, and is pretty much baked in everywhere.

Kind of like a chocolate cookie (the kind that are brown over) compared with something like a chocolate chip cookie- it's impossible to get the chocolate out of the chocolate cookie.

Also the reason why AOSP ROMs are much smaller than the Senseless counterparts- 100MB vs (on average) 450MB.

^from one of my previous posts, will add to OP

6 more days until I'll have my Lumia 920 on AT&T. Won't have a need for my Evo V really in about a week or so. I've got a double layer silicon/polycarbonate Platinum case with a professionally installed Zagg smudge-proof shield on it. Rooted/S-OFF. I might be able to donate it soon, if tinkering wants to be done without risking bricking a personal device to help you guys try and get MMS AOSP working. :)

What's important to me in a phone: Fluidity, screen, camera.

What's the Lumia 920 best at? Fluidity, screen, camera.

:D

Plus if I don't like it after a month or so, the Nexus 4 is only $300. Obviously I'm willing to pay that since I have an Evo V.

Sorry, not trying to get off topic.
