i dont think i installed gapps.. that may be the login problem since there is no net connection.. pg said it was un neccessary so im guessing thats it.. gapps is all the google stuff.. im having cm7 flashbacks from the ascend lol.. pg you rock.. *having joygasms over here* lol i gotta push setcpu over to unleash the beast.. only goin 1.2 / 1.5 max.. yes i have a slacker phone lol.. it will hit 1.9 but i aint tryin to fry it..

So i got back into recovery. flashed my back up. restarted then i went back into recovery reflashed just the alpha. did not flash the gapps. after that restarted and it just sat at the boot screen for like 25 minutes. so i yanked the batter. manually went into recovery. cleared the davik and boosh. i booted right into it.

it is now sunday january 6th 1980

gota love it. stoked. if anyone is stuck on a boot logo. try wiping the davik cache and restart. maybe that might get ya through it.

i know its a little hard to see. but its proof that it does boot

Really, CM10? Damn PG!
I've actually stopped liking CM as much as I used to. With CM10 (using the latest builds) I get veryyyy bad 3g (100 kb/s). With stock (of course I've tweaked and debloated it

) I get relatively good 4G (8mb/s)
It's got a lot of nice features though, but oddly, stock seems to work best for me..

I used cwm touch and didn't get the install issue. Try changing recoveries.

Also if you go to mounts and storage and format data,cache,system, you will get that error. Pull your sd card and put it back in the phone and boot back into recovery and just do a factory reset than try installing it.

Pull up the file and make sure its around 147 MB (if i remember correctly). If you dl it and you are short of storage space... the file will have appeared to download successfully... but its no bueno. Bad file will give you that error.

PS. I'm using same recovery as you... and had no prob

Got plenty of space. 32gb SD lol
It is the right size. Any of this isn't making any sense.
