[HOW TO] Manually Update to Official Jelly Bean LJ7 - Sprint Only

I updated from rooted 4.0.4 and now im on jellybean without root access but su app still there any ideas?

I would just disable Super User. You should be fine. Otherwise, you have to unroot. I don't know if QB77's website steps on how to unroot will still work with jellybean. I think it does for unroot, but definitely needs updated for gaining root access again on jellybean

Downloaded earlier today now battery draining much faster than normal. I usually get 18/20 hours on charge. Since I did this in 4 hours with barely any use, I am at 40percent,any thoughts. Android system is at 40percent, never been that high before.

Yep mine was the same until I shut it down and did a battery pull, now it seems to be much better.

I just updated my phone, and it works great...But I am noticing that the battery is draining a lot quicker. Also when I first updated the S3, a red colored rectangle covering the perimeter of the screen would flash once in a while..I figured that all out tho...My question is that after this update, can I bring the phone into sprint for service, or will they say that I messed with my phone? Or will they not be able to tell a thing. Is this the same exact thing as the OTA???

Battery: see post #29 above for suggestion to fix.
Sprint Store: should you ever need to take your phone for service, ther is no way they would know that you did not update OTA.

Did not notice that, also the wifi logo is different and no more active icons showing activity which is nice -

Also to answer my own question above you need to turn off than on Google now to get the weather to come back on in your notification tray if you accidentally clear the entire tray - ;)

how do you turn Google now off then on?
Never mind! lol
