Root Looking for a good rom

Good !!! :)

Just make sure you read about the different ROM's and what they need for kernels. Don't just mix up kernels and ROM's since they are made to work with each other..... ;)

And remember : Before you change to ANY other ROM, go into CWM Recovery ( Vol+ and Power ) and make a CWM Backup to your sd-card...... this way, if you don't like a new ROM you have installed, you can do an easy restore from CWM backup !!!! Also, make sure there is enough space on your sd-card to hold the backup.....

( I also copy each and every backup immediately after it's done to my computer, just in case there goes something wrong with the sd-card !!! )

Alriggt so tried mokee but play store repeatedly forced closed. Now Im using Honeybread . Seems to be working mint. Still gonna switch roms though. I just wanna check out the others.

That is the only way, try them all and see what you think and like and works for you! Then choose the best one for you. We can all say this and that but you have to see what you like best for you!

I just don't like the green status bar indicators.

You know cm7 has the option of adding the theme chooser engine , right? You can make the status bar, and many other aspects virtually any color.
My current setup:

Just flash this zip
http://db.tt/9Ux6mzEx
It will install the needed files

Then download 'theme chooser themes' from the market...

It has a list of all the available themes for theme chooser... just make sure you set the filter to cm7 and avoid themes that say hdpi only... the prevail is mdpi... and can only use mdpi and ldpi themes. :)
