Root [STOCK] [CWM-BACKUP] Samsung Admire 2.3.4 Stock (EH02)

I'm not sure what is going wrong as I have done this process before, but as I am trying to restore the stock ROM from my back up in CWM, I get the error message
"E:Can't mount/ cache/recovery/log

E/ Can't open /cache/recovery/log

E:Can't mount/ cache/recovery/last_log

E/ Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log"

when I try to boot my admire, it gets stuck at the SCH R720 screen and freezes. When in recovery mode, I get this error message whenever trying to flash anything. What can I do Thanks in advance for your help!

1. okay yes we know the link is down, but if you actually did a bit of reading you would see a link within one of the post to a new thread that contains these things.

2. you should be able to restore just fine with the cant mount issue, i have before in the past. try doing a factory reset after you do the restoring process, see if that helps you boot up the phone. also those mountin errors have nothing to do with not being able to restore from a backup. those errors have something to do with a play store error that causes one to not be able to download apps from the market

I followed these steps but I don't see any difference. So, obviously, I've done something wrong.

There's one thing I'm unsure of in the instructions. When I unzipped the backup zip it created C:~/Downloads/Stock Admire 2.3.4/2012-09-27.20.15.41/

In the sd:/Clockworkmod/backup/ directory, do I put the "Stock Admire 2.3.4" folder in there or do I put the "2012-09-27.20.15.41" folder in there?

Currently I have the directory setup like this.
sd:\Clockworkmod\backup\Stock Admire 2.3.4\2012-09-27.20.15.41\

2012-09-27.20.15.41 is the actual folder that contains the backup stuff. Just take it out of the stock admire 2.3.4 folder and put in the cwm back up folder. You can rename it so you won't get it confused with other backups.

Thanks for the help. That solved my problem. I rooted my phone and started deleting all things Metro. But, then my web browser wouldn't work and none of the steps in the forums for reinstalling metroweb worked for me. I couldn't get flash to work with any other browser, so I saw no reason to switch from metro's. This solved the problem. Now I re-rooted and I'll smarter about what I remove this time. These forums are great.
