Hello everyone, first of all I would like say thay each and everyone from this forum is AWESOME! So that being said - lets get to the problem :)

At first I wanted to install a new ROM on my Wildfire, becase I wanted it to be faster and cleaner, but that kinda failed (I did everything by the book, but then installing a rom the phone just stayed at the HTC logo when turning on..) well ok.

Then I decided to delete a bunch of files I didn't liked (I didn't exactly knew what they did..). I'm awesome too, right? So of course things got broken and now I'm here to ask for advice. In general it's not that bad:
- I can't add new contacts (gets force closed)
- I can't create account in order to download files from market (that wouldn't be a problem, but I have no file browser installed, so... jeah, thats a problem)

So what would I like to hear from the awesome crowd here - either how to install a new ROM based on my problem OR how to get those things working again.

Thanks A LOT.
Be cool, stay Droid :)

Hi,

It seems like you have deleted some important files that are related to your operating system of your device.

Steps that you can follow now :

1. Restore settings from your backup(if you have).
2. Install the OS again.(take the phone to HTC center, they will do it).

If you only need the browser then download the .apk file from any store(slideme.org) on to your PC and transfer the .apk to your phone via cable, bluetooth or mail and install it.

Thanks for the support and reply

No, I don't have backup (I did create one, but jea, I don't have it anymore..)
And sending .apk files via email isn't getting me anywhere because the phone is only offering me to save them to SD card.. and I can't open them anyway..

So any more comments on this matter?
