Root [ROM][AOSP]LOTK's Deck's ReLoaded .500 Philo RLS

so what do you think, Mikey?
Well, it does seem smoother, as in, the screen transition and scrolling.
Although, I'll be honest, not a big whopping difference between the rc1 or 2 or whatever I was on, to this, RLS.

I really didn't have any issues with the rc version and none with RLS with the exception of the included TitaniumBackup. Had to uninstall, then do the normal install from play store thing.
I am glad Swype is back with RLS.
I am also glad the problem with widgets/apps missing are gone. That was gone with the start of the rc versions. So my 32GB, class 10 card doesn't give me issues with RLS.

All is working and just about got it all dialed in.:)

Edit: I did notice also a wifi tether app but didn't try it yet

I wasn't asked lol buuuuuut, I think there are many upgrades to this over .44 and the rcs that, while subtle, all add up to make this rom a major upgrade over the previous releases. And because of that I think it was worth it for me to wipe, flash, and re-set up. I for one am very greatful this was made, our evos will be legendary because of all the amazing developers that learned and refined their skills on this phone, Jamie and rope being at the top of that list.

I concur! :) I feel fortunate enough to get this phone as my first real smartphone....all others will be judged by it now!! What's this talk about the swag bag over there?

That was also in .44 and I use it. Have it to run every 3 days, scheduled.
It cleans up approx. 5GB or so every time....
Do I notice a difference? not really, but I like clean.:p

Guess I missed it before....the beauty of Android though......so many things to miss ;)

I'm just picky about things that can run automatically so I wanted to check first

Have you noticed sometimes that the kernel's sbc will not kick in when charging overnight? It's hit and miss with me...?????

I noticed after a few minutes one morning the battery seemed more down that normal, but I just passed it off......I'll pay more attention

When it comes to battery life and the way the kernel acts though all seems good !!

Seems like I've used up a good portion of internal too. In settings I have app storage set to auto, should I check all SD or external?
Are you talking about in the menu/settings/advanced settings/application/install location?

In that option, I have "automatic" checked. (the only options I have are, automatic, external, internal)
I also have the box next to "Allow application moving" UN-checked.

hmmm...I have that last one checked.
I never messed with that cuz I assumed that dta2sd would move the apps.
I really dont know what the purpose of that option is for. Perhaps if one does not have dta2sd, it will, or will not allow the moving of apps to the sd card.

Edit: do you run dalvik from the sd-ext?
fwiw...I do

Negative. Next time I clear it I will have to note the amount of space freed up after.

The only time the sd-ext would be utilized is if DarkTremors a2sd is either baked into the rom (which .500 does not) or flashed afterwards which you should do, to then take advantage of your sd-ext partition:)
Wow, I thought the whole discussion on The 500 page was to emphasize that dta2sd was baked in. Duh!

Now, how do I flash it and if I do, will it automatically move from phone to SD to EXT partition?
