hello to all i pick up a evo 3d with hboot 1.58 how do i downgrade it so i can root the phone or is there a way to root on hboot 1.58 also htc won't find my phone even though i install the drivers.?? what am i missing.?? thanks

I believe you can root HBoot 1.58, but you will need to do it the HTC way, and then get S-OFF the Juniper way. All you need to root is here >>> HTC EVO 3D All Things Root Guide, do some reading, when ready if you have any questions then ask away

I was HBoot 1.58 as well when I rooted for the first time a couple of weeks ago.
htcdev.com and the link DonB provided is all I used and I was successful.
I am in no way, shape or form tech savvy. So those instructions are pretty idiot-proof
