Does anyone know of an application that lets you mark points of interest on a map as you drive?

I'm looking for some kind of app I can use while I drive around the city that lets me mark off points of interest that I can then see at home on my desktop computer or something.

That way I can drive around the city and take a look for interesting things and mark the locations down...then I can come back and see what is in the area and find the interesting item.

For example, if you are looking for a new place to rent you could drive around and mark of areas that have for rent signs up and create a map for yourself.

My Tracks will plot your track and you can place pushpins at locations of interest.

I'm at home right now so I can't get a gps and wander around far enough to see how this works exactly...but it seems to be a nice program except it is more designed for recording your traveled path than points of interest.

I want to have an android application where I open the app, push a button on the screen and it will take a date and time stamped gps coordination position at the present location and email it to yourself.

I just realized you can ALMOST do this...the only problem is you can't really do it while driving too easily.

See in google maps you can hold your finger down on a location and then share that location to email or dropbox or something. Then you can take that location and come back to it and add it to a my maps in google maps and you'll get your list.

I guess if you want to record your path, too, that way if you miss a point you'll be able to backtrack. So that's pretty handy in cooperation with Google Maps. it would be nice if there was a little google maps app that let you push a big button to record those locations so it would be easier when you are driving...
