Jelly Bean Rom Guide & Mods

I'd just like to thank you all for giving my post over 1000 views for the first time in my career

I'd liked to thank my mum, dad, the fisherman who threw me back into the sea, George Clooney for supporting me through my difficult up bringing in the River Mersey, and Kelly Brook for being a wonderful, loyal girlfriend for the past 2 years

And on that note gentlemen I bid thee farewell. I hope my posts have been useful for those of you who read it. But its time for me to Jump Ship back to my beloved Neat Rom Lite LPY with S3 Mods and Hawkers Green theme.

Its been fun while it lasted, its been emotional too. Whilst the leaked Rom is/was good enough for a daily Rom, those extra settings I can get from STweaks and those extra hours of battery life are slightly more important now Ive had my fun.

Absolutely wetting myself with anticipation for Sales First Release

Thanks everyone for all the great work and info.

I'm just about to flash Philz kernel and JB leak using mobile Odin (thanks to bluefa1con for instructions) but would appreciate guidance on a few things(I'm going from rooted GB 2.3.4).

1. The package I downloaded has two .pit files included; emmc_EXT4_16GB.pit and emmc_EXT4_32GB.pit. I believe mobile Odin doesn't flash these - are they needed? Maybe I need to use PC version of Odin?

2. Can someone who has flashed with mobile Odin confirm what and when do I need to wipe - data & cache and dalvik? , also restore factory settings?

3. Will contents of internal sdcard be touched in the flash? Have backed up all I can think of anyway, including nandroid using CWM .

4. Is it best to restore apps manually afterwards, then restore app data via Titanium backup or do both via TB?

5. I have EFS backed up - will I need to restore manually afterwards?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi mate.... Ok let's go

1. If you are all ready rooted then I recommend downloading the flash able zip that includes PhilZ's kernel and will keep your root

2.Again I would use the flash able zip... Try Sales Neat Rom Jelly Bean, that will be available on Hawkers thread

3. Internal Memory Card is not touched.. It is recommended to do the following with each flash

Reboot in to recovery
Wipe Cache
Advanced, Wipe Dalvik Cache
Mount's and storage
