I'm looking to upgrade from ICS to JB. I was going to ask this on XDA but they are very uptight rude/elitists. I'm currently running stock 4.0.3 XWLPD with ICS domination theme. I have never installed a rom before. It says I need to do a factory reset when I do this does it just clear everything and revert to the default stock rom xwlpd or does it actually revert to the factory stock rom gingerbread? Can anyone also recommend me a JB rom i'm looking at this 1 currently

I'm looking for 1 that has the least bugs I definately want to be able to use the camera functions

Thanks for the quick reply. But I still have the question about factory reset does it reset it to the factory rom that the phone first came with with or the 1 I last installed?

no.
it just wipes /data which basically stores your apps and settings etc.
whatever ROM you are on when you factory reset will remain.
and so will root if you are rooted
