You have to excuse my Swype autocorrect. I thinks it's dyslexic.

I had the same problem. What fixed it for me was to go into voltage control and change both values min and max to 800.

That has to be BRUTAL on your battery. (Though, you could have achieved the same thing by setting the governor to performance... performance = max frequency at all times)

To those with lag, what governor are you using? How many apps do you have that constantly run in the background? What launcher are you using?

Idk out governors but mine is sorta alright and I keep mine between. 98 and 480, what lags on me is the keyboard a lot, I typed this whole paragraph about 10 secs ahead of what it was being typed lol

Anyone have any ideas why when trying 3.75, after choosing the "data" mode for the kernel, and after rebooting phone it gets stuck on the Koumakernel screen FOREVER? Everything boots up fine without changing that setting. CTMod 3.68 worked fine with the data option. I have a 1gb ext part. I've read through the post and saw one other person had same problem. I have two prevails and same thing happens on both with 3.75. Any ideas???????? Also have tried, after choosing the data mode, booting into recovery and formatting sd-ext then rebooting and still get stuck on the Kouma screen.

Side note....thanks to Blood and Kouma for all the work they have done for this phone and this ROM. And also to all others who have spent time developing etc etc. And of course to Hroark and Shabby, awsome work!!

Try flashing koumakernel from its thread.

If that doesn't work, try replacing the koumamod.apk with the one from the koumakernel thread.

On the CT3.68 when you initially go and change your ringtone or notification tone a box would come up asking you to choose from a default category, sounds or music. This allowed me to use just about any sound I wanted for whatever. On the new ctmod it automaticly seems to already have only system sounds chosen, now I no longer have that option. So to anyone, or I guess Blood, how can I get back to having the choice or is it not possible within the changes you made?

you can probably use some app from the market like zedge or some shit or you can push the ringtone you wanna use to /system/media/audio/ringtones and select it in the list of your default tones.

Try flashing this. Its an alternative music player (should be the same one that was in 3.68)

http://db.tt/ZCJaDa9c

It should bring the option to choose from music back at least
(Or just extract the app and install it that way.)

Edit-
Or what blood said... :eek::D

I'm using deadline and on demand 200 min 900 Max. Which is the same as I always use. It seems the lag only occurs during online usage and continues until reboot. I have never had this happen on any of the other ctmods. I have three prevails that I have flashed and all are doing it. Also sometimes I cannot answer the phone by swiping without hitting the power button to turn the screen off and back on again. I truly enjoy the new version though.

Hi guys just wanted to say that i have been running 3.75 for a few days and at points i also get lag until i have to eventually reboot or it freezes...I noticed that when its lagging if i go into voltage control it changes my settings ( I usually run sio smartassv2 98min 864 max) i noticed it changes my governer to deadline and even increased my max once....so i decided to remove that apk and try to use voltage control from market to see if i have any difference will report back

My phone is rooted, I have clockworkmod's "Rom Manager" and recovery manager program including SuperUser and a zip opener app. I messed with every possibility I could think of, I have 2gigs free in sd with minimal apps in internal
One problem that might have caused this is at one point it asked for a phone model in Rom Manager towards the first options and I clicked a random one, samsung galaxy prevail not being on the list. Every configuration has been tried I have made a backup with a custom name, installed something from recovery app and toggled most options I could think of. Coming home with no music no pictures or anything else I watched the youtube video and he made it seem so easy during the step install from sd card I get this:
on CWM-Based Recovery v5.0.2.7
- Install zip from sdcard
CT3.75-Final-LG855.zip
-Yes

--Installing: /sdcard/download/
LG855.zip
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Installing update...
E:Error in /sdcard/download/CT3.
5.zip
(Status 0)
Installation aborted

I haven't seen anyone with a problem thus far so I don't understand what I did wrong, this is my first time flashing to something other than factory reset newest vers or root flash samsung galaxy Prevail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't understand then.
Clock work mod
their website features 3 applications and searches come up with rudimentary results on google play and google. Where is this "Clock work mod" app?

it's not an app
It's custom recovery FIRMWARE.
here's a hint, try searching for Clockwork Mod Recovery in that little bar at the top right of the page marked "Search"

ALSO: CT3.75-Final-LG855.zip is not for the m820!
