Why this forum so damn dead?

Because no one bought it and even those of us who do have it tolerate it just enough and we can't be bothered to care about doing anything with it besides waiting for something else to come along so we can finally replace it.

That's a bit harsh. If it had a slightly larger screen (4.3-4.5"), I would be extremely happy with it. It's a pretty solid phone.

Why did you buy it if you dislike it so? This is a very good phone especially now with root and s-off being an option which we all know rooting can turn a phone into much more than what the inc4g was before we could leave the restrictions of stock which even before root on stock it is a very solid phone. Sorry this phone may not be a big device or as great as some of the high end new phones but it is far far better than a huge selection of phones and I'm sure many people would love to own the inc4g and not bitch bout it.

Do you know how a phone is going to act before you buy it? doubt it...after owning it for months it is a solid phone (i dont hate it) but next time i will research a little more and get something better is all i'm saying. Many people feel this way that's why this phone isn't on the top of any lists as a great phone.

While the creaky back is disappointing, it isn't terribly noticeable with a case. The phone size is perfect for what I want. I don't want a phablet. Battery life is great, if runs smoothly and the 4g speed is outstanding. With s-off & root, it is even better with just a few tweaks (remove Wi-Fi nag, three button mod, and ability to put custom ringtones in system folders). Plus, now we can use great root only apps including Wi-Fi tether, Titanium Backup, LBE, Root Explorer, etc.

Wow so I saw two other posters just on this thread that have the creaky back cover problem too... Mine is getting worse by the day, even with small pieces of tape shoved in for padding LOL... It ticks me off for HTC to say that a creaky back cover is normal. Riiiight. Between that and the stock email app that refuses to sync with gmail, and Verizon's cocky service, I am definitely not thrilled with my experience. But, I got this phone because it's the perfect size and has good specs, and other than the RAZR M it's still pretty much the only decent smaller option.

Changing the topic, what is this S-OFF tweak I'm reading about? I'm a n00b to r00t so please bear with me.

Thus far I'm happy with the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE. I've had the phone for a week now and I love the HTC. Although I'm not a happy camper that I switched over to Verizon from AT&T.

yep - i keep a case on mine so i've never noticed a squeeky cover if i have one or not.

i'm with you - this is a great phone, runs great, has great specs, perfect size (i do not want anything larger), and now that we have s-off and root any tweaks or mods you want should be available.

i guess the masses like their large phones... :dunno:

Its such an underrated device. I gave mine to my wife and am now using the DNA, and I have to say, when I use her phone I do miss it.

How is the DNA? Still contemplating getting one just not sure. I've been sitting on an upgrade since last july. I bought this full retail to keep unlimited which I do take full advantage of.
