Anyone's note 2 freeze yet?

Curious after having your note 2 for roughly 2 weeks if anyone's had any freeze ups yet? I've had 2...where the screen is just dark and phone is non responsive. Only way to get it back is a full battery pull.

Anyone else? Haven't been able to pinpoint it to anything but today I know it had to be an app. I had plenty of battery and barely used it and when I rebooted it was drained to 20% when it's averagely been at around 70.

Which carrier? I'll go postal here in a sec, too...

What apps installed? What settings, etc? I had a phone where one app overwrote a setting and wasn't apparent on a reboot, caused me hell a year ago on another phone. I had a worse experience on an iphone where it went into the backup and it lingered.. Just trying to help here!

Can the OP elaborate? Mine has been perfect so far, but have only had it for a few days.

First post, first Android phone I'm an iPhone covert after 5 years.

Mine froze tonight after trying to stream the 121212concert (without any luck kept saying couldn't play video). Eventually the phone froze up and a message about chrome being unresponsive popped then something about touch wiz unresponsive and I had to remove the battery

I have a lot of reading to do on these forums as its all completely new to me. I'm on T mobile now, had the note 2 for only 5 days :(. Too early to lose my patience though

YES I had this happen one week after I got mine is ATT and I didn't have that many apps installed. Yes I had the black screen and had to do a battery pull to bring it back to life. Its been a month and hasn't happened again. I freaked out when it happened and went to the Att store. The rep told me that it happens, and by removing the battery it may have fixed or only temp fixed it and to monitor it - said it may be caused by faulty app.
But so far not issues yet, fingers crossed.

Yes, I have had multiple freeze-ups, restarts, "unfortunately xxx has stopped . . .", and dead/unresponsive phone and had to remove the battery on my Verizon Note II. This is understandible considering how many new apps I have been trying out then uninstalling.

The "Phone Info" apps on Play Store were the worst (there are at least *5* apps on Play Store named "Phone Info", all meant to toggle 4G on and off).

And the stock browser twice killed my Note II dead/unresponsive/black screen/had to remove the battery.

After a thorough housecleaning of downloaded apps my Note II hasn't had a problem in days :)

I've been having same issue multiple times. Out of nowhere it suddenly freezes and it's not responsive to anything but to pull the battery. At first, I thought my battery was dead but that wasn't the case. This morning, my alarm went off but the screen remain black and I couldn't snooze or turn the alarm off. So once again, I ended up pulling the battery. Also My phone was charged 100% before I went to bed and had it unplugged. But this morning along with the phone not responding, when I had it back up with the battery pull, my battery was down to 75% I'm thinking about taking it in to AT&T (my carrier) but I'm not sure if they will do anything since this happens randomly. I can't really show them what's happening. :(
