Can't say that I have this problem. Both open instantly for me even with power saving on. Do you have any battery saving apps running? If so try removing them.

Only thing I can suggest otherwise is a full wipe and re flash but maybe the others will have some alternative ideas.

To update you on my battery issues, the .nomedia now shows up in file explorer app's. Am I right in thinking that I should have this in ALL folders that don't contain photo's/music/videos, etc? The battery has been awful this week, completely died two evenings this wk after starting day Full.

Strangely, it has gone down 11% in 3 hours today which is a lot more like what it used to be :thinking:

Also, not sure if related, but my notification sounds appear to stopped. I have had sms, 2 x fotmob notifications none of which made a sound. Volume/settings are fine.

There is no reason for that. Please check that your mobile data is on. Go to Settings-More Settings-Mobile Networks-Mobile Data... See that the Mobile Data Box is checked. If it is, Then check the APN (Access Point names) and get the correct APN if you dont have it already. If it still doesnt work, then it is probably a problem with your Modem...

am i able to dual boot with ics and jb neat rom, i use the uma orange signal boost all the time on ics, but it dosnt work on jb...#

Dual boot not supported currently since siyah and dorimanx are not compatible with Neatrom JB...

Back up all your important files and the ones you use the most then go to Settings > Storage > Format USB Storage

But I ll let him do that. Neatrom JB does not have the android 4.2 camera. From what i have seen on xda, presently people are experiencing FCs with the camera (photosphere)....

That's because NEAT ROM JB is Android 4.1.2.

cozins17, What was keeping your phone awake for the period when your battery "fell down a cliff ?" It was dropping quite steeply anyway, but it suddenly nose dives.

If your battery woes continue and you've done everything you can imagine to improve the situation, then it could be a battery problem. However something is amiss that makes me think it aint the battery, a nose dive like your graph shows is just plain wrong. You have my sympathy.

Hey I just installed the XXLSJ_NeatROM_Lite_v4.0. I am just currently restoring my apps from Titanium so I just had one doubt. Do I have to restore all the stock Samsung apps/widget/daemon settings like those shown in this link ?https://spreadsheets.google.com/spr...1gdDJRekl4QmkyNmIzUmRvX2h3UDVkQXc&output=html

Or can I unselect them all as they have already come bundled with the ROM and installing them could cause problems?

Just select the "restore missing apps with data" option in T backup. It will take care of everything.

However, as you are no doubt aware, there are some 4.1.2 roms, which have a 4.2 camera and hence my reply.

Two things you may wish to consider are...

1. Was your Titanium Backup, that you wish to restore app's/settings from, made whilst you were on ICS or JB? If it was ICS, I suggest leaving the the system data out and, if you want to be absolutely sure, even the app settings as you are now on JB and these could cause problems.

2. As you have installed the NEAT ROM Lite version, do you want to be re-adding the stuff that has been left out of the Lite ROM? Worse still, if your backup was from ICS, do you want to be overwriting the JB versions?

Yeah you were right. I added the apps and app data and selected only the ones I Want referring the list I put up earlier. Basically I didn't add any of the stock apps. It's been good so far. NeatROM is working wonderfully

Gotta take it out and test the battery. What settings or apps are you using to make sure you get the most out of it? Also now that I don't have STweaks any app you would suggest to get BLN?
And the only problems I seem to have is I can't get the news ticker in the lock screen to work and when I type *#1234# in the dialer to see my pda,csc,etc. it doesn't show anything.
Otherwise it's working beautifully. Thank you Sale for the ROM (and ironass for all your help).
