So I am guessing this phone will never have root? The droid charge way does not work at all yes everything is recognized but it just will not work it is a different build that we have is my guess to why it does not work

Root No root?

Currently no devs has looked at this device. .I'm sorry but I gotta say that this phone isn't going to get root access for now .. but you your self can experiment with it... like use the Droid charge root method and twist it around or somewhat...

I would try it if I could I flashed the droid charge cwm on the lightray and now its on a bootloop is there anything I can do to flash the original back? I used odin

Lol trust me, my wife has that phone and it laggs alot ...no apps installed and theres no root or recovery for it.... similar to the attain

Well I have my 64GB card inside which is 50 percent full and loads everything from the gallery without any lag and flash play plays flawlessly on it and I have almost 100 spa installed on it and no lag. The attain took a long time to even load anything

Lol that's true.... but damn 64gb lol... my wife only has 8gb, that phone might be snappy but I think it will take a long time for any roms,kernels lol especially recovery... but its a nice phone though, gets the job done when needed
