what type of battery life is everyone getting.i getting about 8 to 10 hours.i came out of an Evo 4g lte and was getting about 10 to 12 plus

Haven't had the phone long enough to know exactly how long of a life I average at. However I'm currently projecting 13 more hours at current rate of decay with 4 hours already on the battery itself. Currently I'm not using it all that much so i can expect that 13 to fall to about 8 or 6 after texting and internet usage.

That said, I'm used to having to charge at mid-day to 3pm-ish on the SGS3, so if i get at least 8 hours out of a charge I'm happy.

If I take the phone off the charger in the morning, I'll get about 8-10 hours, with my typical usage habits. I've had as few as six hours, with heavy use. Now that LTE is trickling into my area (we're up to five towers!), I've switched the phone to 3G/4G mode. That will probably shorten my battery life a little more.

I'm now in the habit of keeping a charger in the car, and at my desk at work. That's the only way that I can ensure the battery will last until I get home.

Aside from that, I like the phone.

So to update with an interesting fact, I'm getting 8-10 depending on where I am and how much I use it. However I could run up to 24 hours if I'm sitting on wifi. It would seem the cell (3G radio) uses a whole heck of a lot more battery than the wifi, even in good signal conditions (4-5 bars). I hope the LTE radio doesn't use that much battery, but that'll have to wait until we get more towers here.
