Help Any Way To Get A Taken Picture To "Review" For A Few Seconds?...

...Before going into the Gallery app? You know, to stay on the screen so you can look at it briefly without having to go into the Gallery?

My DNA does this but I could find nothing in the camera settings to allow for this.

Also, to get the camera to zoom do you always have to hit the volume rocker first before the vertical bar appears on the left side of the screen that allows you to zoom? This really seems like an unnecessary extra step. The only other way I've found to zoom the camera is to use two fingers to either pinch or spread the picture.

yeah good questions !

i see a picture taken on my camera view in a tiny thumbnail in the left corner... but id also wish i could see what the pic looked like right after i take it...

the zoom is all together annoying. it feels sloppy cause u cant see how much u zoomed till after a little delay, and more often than not u gotta readjust... i prefer to have a zoom bar on the screen like my gnex

To zoom you can just use the the volume rocker, hold it down to zoom in or out.

I know that but that's not very user friendly and it's inintuitive.

What about how to get the pictures to show full size on your screen for at least a few seconds after you take the shot before reverting to camera mode?

Download Pixlr Express in Play Store much better than the droid camera..Much more options as well

I don't think this is what you are looking for but I couldn't find anything else about a delay. You could tap the thumbnail and review it for as long as you want, share it, or delete it then just press the camera at the top middle to go back to the camera mode.

I don't think the stock camera app has an automatic preview mode. The best advice I can give would be to try other camera apps in the play store.

As to your zoom question, you can do a pinch-zoom to zoom in or out, just like you would do to zoom in on a picture. Try it, it works!

Keep in mind that the zoom is fake. It merely crops the image. You could easily accomplish the same thing after taking the image at full frame.

I don't think so.
A picture taken at 1x is 3264x2448 and so is a picture taken 4X zoom.

Try out camera 360. It has what you need plus a whole lot more.

Actually that's what is being done when using digital zoom with the addition of interpolation. Interpolation ids an algorithm that looks like cropping the image and resizing it to original size. You lose a lot of detail either way.
