Help Can someone please help me with Music apps?

Im not sure if u can fix Google music downloading to internal memory w/o root. I had same problem so i had to download my entire music library from Google music to my computer then to my sd card. i still use Google music cause its the UI i enjoy the most. the music appears in app library just as normal. only difference is there is no lag. the only problem i see so far is sometimes i download new music and load it straight to phone and forget to sync it to google music so my tablet or pc doesn't get same music.

As for loading music thro usb to car stereo i think it might just be ur stereo cause mine lets me see sd card and interenal memory folders. although, it hides everything thats not a music,pic or video file.

Best thing I could do was get an external SD card (64gb), transfer my music directly from computer and use the regular music player.

i seem to have the same issue. i bought music via soundhound app and amazon - shows up in Google Play (saved to device) yet does not show up in the other music player. frustrating!

Try this app and you won't have to use your computer etc. It lets you choose where you download to and then you should be able to access it with the Ford Sync.

Just download the music onto your phone and use the "MyFiles" app to move it to your sd card.

Also, when you buy music from Google music or Amazon using your phone, it will automatically be loaded into their respective "cloud players." Then, you have to physically download it from there to get your music on your phone in a storage device.

And no, music player app will not recognize the songs in your google cloud music player. (Google has not allowed any music player app to do this.) Please remember that music player reads what's physically on your device - not what's included in any cloud player music.

how do i download songs to my SD card from Google music player
Well I am a novice I have searched and found very complicated answer's do some root thing or /data/data/com.google.android.music/cache. This just gave me a headache...So I took my SD card out of My Samsung Galaxy S (Mesmerize) put the micro SD card into micro SD Adapter and plugged it in the slot on my laptop. I made a playlist on my windows media player I synced to my SD card. I had some music on my Google play music (on computer) EASIER SIGN UP MY ANDROID APPS GOOGLE PLAY I made a playlist there I then right clicked "save as" save under your SD card. I then put my SD card back into my phone opened my "Music Player" This is the one already on your phone next to your gallery app. I opened my music player and all music was there. I hope this helps the novice's like me.

Easiest way to not use up all of your internal storage, from music downloaded, is to create a folder for Music on your microSD and move it over to the microSD when you've downloaded (whether it be from the Google Play Store or elsewhere).

I have my music folder set up on my microSD, just like it would be on a computer (w/ subfolders for artists and albums). My preference is to have it organized like that, but not everybody feels the need to do that as long as their music is identified on the player.

That said, either use the built in Samsung File Explorer on the phone or download Astro, eStrongs, Solid Explorer, etc... All of those File Explorer apps will accomplish being able to move the mp3 files over to your microSD.

Once you have the hard mp3 files on your microSD, Google Music will still identify the audio files. I know, because I don't have any music files on my internal SD, but Google Music still identifies all of them (even though, I prefer using PowerAmp out of all the music players).

-EDIT- If you already have a lot of mp3's on your internal storage, I'd suggest connecting the phone to a CPU using the microUSB>USB connector, make sure it identifies your phone as a media device, and use the CPU's file explorer to cut and paste the music from your internal storage to your external storage. Once you've done that, just make it a habit of moving downloaded music immediately to the same folder on your microSD card (using one of the file explorer apps).
