cool. i don't have 2.1, but i reposted this info on sdx - not sure if it's on there with the millions of threads that are flying around.

same thing. your lock key is your MSL #. there's a few ways to get it - call sprint (they're sort of stingy about it)... if you have connectbot or adb, type in "getprop" and search through what appears for your 6-digit MSL #.

My phone decided to play a practical joke on me. When I woke up this morning and looked at my phone I saw the little update icon on the notification bar. I instantly thought, "Oh cr@p 2.1 is here!!!" Then I opened up the notification and it was only an update for my bar code scanner app!!! Well played, moment, well played indeed.

Just a fyi eaz stream apps are working now someone figured out a fix for them
yeah i just tried it. works great.
2pm and phone reads 50%
1 phone call 3 txt messages 1 5min gtalk session and some light web surfing

Place an icon or shortcut on the desktop, then hold it until it lifts. When it lifts, 4 little green dots will appear (two on either side of the trash bin). Drag the icon to any of the green dots. When you let it go, it will become a stic shortcut in that spot. Fill all four spots if you like.
That way you have 4 shortcuts and the luncher (in the center) at the bottom of the screen, no matter which homescreen you are on

So, over 24 hours later....
Yes, there are a few glitches in the DD03 version but....I can't go back to 1.5.
GPS was really slow to work yesterday but today it was outstanding. And the Google Maps with Navigation blows away Sprint Nav. It's now gone from my phone.
Can't stream Pandora yet. Can't run some of my 1.5 apps such as calorie counter, golf card, and mileage logger. Not sure if they have a 2.1 version yet or if it's something else. Got a new mileage program for tracking vehicle miles (I think it's called Mileage Log...vs the old one Mileage Logger).
The improvements are so much better that my user experience has increased 10 fold. I'll deal with a few minor annoyances until the final release comes out.
One problem I am having is when on the phone a lot, I hang up and the phone goes immediately to lock screen. Not sure if that is me or a system issue. Kind of bugs me, however.....Nuiance is so damn good now on my phone. I can use it through my bluetooth and not even need to access the phone screen. I just tap twice on my bluetooth and Nuiance activates and allows me to speak in a name or number. I can do this while the phone is in sleep mode.
Bluetooth pairs right up with the phone from either sleep or from a reboot.
The colors seem much brighter, the pics of contacts are larger in the dial mode. The screen transitions are cool, smoother and without lag.
Knowing this is a pre-release....I'm very happy.

Same thing happened to me this morning. I woke up and saw the update notification and even snoozed a little longer to see if it would still be there when I woke up. It was, but it wasn't any update I cared about lol

edit 3pm been streaming since they got it working, 2 texts, light web surfing, tons of marketplace downloads, 2 phone calls, a few emails, and i'm at 50% too, yes i'm using live wallpapers too if ppl ask
it just dropped to 40% been stream since the fix but batter ys still green, think battery indicator is broken lol, im sure if i restart it will go back u to 50%+

Well I guess I found something not working on mine. I see the dots but they dont turn green.
