Music starts playing automatically in car over bluetooth

This is a problem that happened with my DINC 1 and its happening with my DNA too. When I get in my car the music app automatically opens and starts playing through the bluetooth in the car speakers. It's really, really annoying. Anyone else? Fixes?

I have a similar issue, but not on bluetooth. And had same issue with my HTC Dinc1.

When playing audio via headphones with the non-stock music app (i.e. an audiobook player), the music app will randomly come on and start playing music (over/on top of my audiobook). Weird that this happens with both HTC phones I've owned.

Just started happening on the DNA this weekend after dozens of hours listening without incident, incidentally on mile 19 of a marathon, a point I really didn't want to be fuddling with the damn phone.

I have the DROID DNA and the same thing randomly started happening to me. I don't know what it is, but it even seems like it bounces between the Amazon MP3 app and my regular music app. Either one of them will start playing music when I start my car. I don't know why, especially when I back completely out of it every time.

Any resolution yet?

I don't have any queues on my phone a Samsung SCH. At first I thought it had to do with whether or not I had used the BT synch the last time I was in the car, but that did not help. Actually every time I get in the car the default Sound player starts. It does not play through the car it just starts on the phone and it does not shut off even after I leave the car unless I manually stop it. If I try to play anything else through the car the sound player plays over the other player.

Same problem here on HTC Eris. When i plug in external speakers (to listen to podcast) the damn music player starts automatically. I can't uninstall it, there are no settings to adjust and it's a sonofabitch to even turn the damn thing off! I can't believe this has gone on this long and HTC or Google haven't offered a fix yet.

Best fix I've found is to install the app Headset Blocker (found on google play)
