Root MidnightRom: Jellybean [MOVED]

Anyway to get corporate email on this? i don't see an option for it

Yeah, you can just find the stock email app and install it. You can find it inside of the slim addons here: Downloads - Addons - full packages 4.1.2

just download the AIO addons and pull out the email.apk and the exchange2.apk and install the email one first and then the exchange2.

EDIT: Sorry, I guess ramjet had already answered this.

Idk if everybody had this but after I updated I went and downloaded chrome cause I wanted to use something knew and chrome is just all kind of buggy. When you pull down the notification bar it just goes wonkers. This is all in chrome not stock browser

chrome seems to suck. Interesting that google chrome doesnt work on google android, but whatever. On mine, if you tap the numbers icon on the keyboard, the keyboard disappears. I started using dolphin. I think the gestures shortcuts are pretty slick.

Glad I'm not the only one with bluetooth issues. Listening to pandora wireless in my car is a big deal lol I HATE radio and I have have a 3mm head phone jack. I'm sure he will have it fixed in next release just a minor bug. Can't wait to see how good this sounds on my car stereo system with acid. 1 10 inch sub and all Bose speakers make for a excellent ride.

i have one issue with it, your calculator is older than a guy with liverspots, the newer one has a working history (you can pull down the bar). i like to use it to keep track of tips when i deliver. otherwise a very very solid rom. almost feels quiet.. not literally quiet, but it FEELS quiet, like nothings running.... not even the rom.

oh and forget project butter, this thing is k*y smooth. (btw for anyone wondering anthrax 3.7 breaks camera, but before that in my testing with the stock kernel all pictures i took put themselves out of foucus. almost like autofucus was broken. sphere and panorama and camcorder were fine.

Flashed the rom late last night. Funny how things work for some and not for others. Tested my mms and it worked fine right after installing the rom.

MMS and SMS works with AIO.

Two issues still:
1. can't run embeded videos.
2. Looks like google maps does not run on this ROM it gets stuck on the screen waiting for location, however mapquest does.

Just so you know and thanks for all the great work.

I'm having issues with the capacitive lights not turning off most of the time. I did disable them under the kernel tuner and it's not that big of a deal, just wanted to throw that out there.

Also for some reason I'm not receiving MMS unless I long click on it and click download attatchment and then view thru my viewer.

I'm LOVING this rom!! So far those are the only 2 problems I'm running into and they are very minor. Thanks daks!!!

Same Issue with the MMS not displaying. Had to do the same work-around. Fix this, and I donate. Not just internet points (you have gotten them all with the other roms).

this issue happens on other ROMS also not just this one. The problem lies with the messaging apk that is being used in all of the ROMS for us that have both receiving and sending working. for me this happens when someone who has Sprint tries to send me a picture.

Google Maps works just fine for me.

I flashed this last night and I'm really impressed :). The only problems I've had have already been mentioned (can't reboot without battery pull and changing some settings causes force close) . The only one I would add is that cpu1 seems to be locked at a maximum of 1134 MHz no matter what I do.
But other than that this is pretty great! It seems to be smoother than MidnightRomS. I'm glad I decided to switch over.

I can't use the Buttered Toast kernel because it crashes the gallery when I try to use the camera. Is there any of there kernels that are as good or better than this one that have sweep2wake because you have to push the power button really hard to use turn the screen back on.

Its also cool that you can make the phone look like a mini tablet with all the different settings. This was the first MidnightRom that I used and it is really good so far keep up the awesome work for this.:D

thanks for the info. I tested my google maps and for the time that i ran it, it picked up location fast and seemed to be working good. Maybe re-wipe you data and cache? Or reinstall? I dont know. The problems you are having sound like the same ones i had when i first flashed slim bean and after a reflash or two later, I didnt seem to ever have those problems again.

I often wonder how a clean wipe and flash can work sometimes and other times there seem to be bugs. are you using the default dpi? Because i have heard that the custom dpi's can cause problems with some apps. Also, i had some issues when after restore apps from Titanium that were backed up in ICS and then restored in Jellybean.

Lately, i just go through the work of downloading everything from the store again. Sucks, but the JB roms work better when I just go through the resetup work it seems.

did you try changing the processor speed in A.S.S. as opposed to using the kernel tuner?

Thanks the Google Maps works now, I just did a reboot and that was it, I think it was the initial setup. As per what you said about titanium I think you are right, I will download the applications directly when I get home and see if improves .

Thanks.
