Fresh opinion of Note 2 in pockets!

Hey guys. I know there's a zillion threads on this topic but I just wanted to get some newer opinion regarding the issue. I am looking into purchasing the note 2 next month. My only concern is that its too big. How does it feel in the pocket? If sitting will you be able to pull it out of your pocket?? I'm 6' tall, 200 lbs.
Also, is it easy to hold and use the keyboard with both hands, or are you pushing one letter at a time on one hand?

Thanks everyone!~

I'm 5'6" and have no issues getting it out of my pocket. Granted, I'm not into the new fad of skinny jeans, so I imagine that can effect things, haha. To be honest, once you cross into the larger size phones (4.something and up) they are all about the same as far as pocketing goes, so don't let the size of the note 2 scare you. While I mostly text, email using Swype, I have used the keyboard in landscape and had no issues there either. I just got the phone last Monday, so I feel my opinions are pretty fresh. Hope this helps.

I'm 5'9 and I don't wear skinny jeans and so far no problem with the size of the phone. I have a friend that sadly wears skinny jeans and although the phone fits, it was pretty snug lol. I usually just use the phone with one hand. I use the one hand keyboard option if I think it might be a problem.

6'3, 220 and I wear loose jeans. I have no issues with this phone in/out of my pockets. Initially i thought I would just considering the size of the phone but I've had it for about 3 months now and haven't had any issues as far as fit goes.

I use the stock keyboard and don't have too many issues with it. I type one finger at a time and sometimes I'll hit two buttons at once but it happens every once in awhile. Trying to get used to Swype since I hear that's a little easier. Either way, don't think you should have any issues with the keyboard.

i wear Hagger relaxed fit pants to work and Wrangler relaxed fit jeans on weekends. Golf shorts, too. My white Note 2 fits just fine in all three. But always remember to get a solid grip before pulling the phone out of any pocket. Can be slippery. That's why I prefer a belt clip (Piel Frama) or a Jacket or Sports coat pocket for storage.

My work pants are fine and I can slide it in and take it out of my pocket without any issues. But I do have some comfort pants that are not tight or too loose fitting. It's a little difficult to remove the phone when I'm wearing those pants when sitting down. It doesn't help when I have a thick overcoat for the winter season either. Definitely can't take it out of my pant pocket when the coat's on and zippered and flap buttoned up.

5'10", 180lbs, size 36-38 pants. Fits fine in my work pants and regular fit jeans. Can take a little work to pull it out when sitting down, but honestly it took a little work to get my 4GS out as well, just different kind of work, if that makes any sense.

The one down side to the size is one handed operation can be a wee bit difficult. For example, hitting the "back" capacitive button requires a serious stretching of the thumb when holding with the right hand.

No regrets at all going from my iPhone to the Note II. It is superior in every way.

Does anybody keep their N2 in the back pocket when sitting down. I always kept my iPhone in my back pocket when I sat, but im afraid to with the Note 2. I'm afraid it will crack.

No, I never keep my phone in my back pockets when I sit down. The chances of it breaking is so high with all your weight on it. I either put it in my front pockets or hold it in my hands when I sit down.

Bigger people wear bigger pants and bigger pants have bigger pockets.

So.

It cracks me up when someone asks about this phone here come the stats.
I'm 6'2" 190 lbs, I'm 6'5" 210 lbs, I'm 6'8" 800 lbs, I'm 4'1" 102 lbs.

It's a phone, not weight lifting or boxing. Height and weight is irrelevant.
It isn't even relevant with regard to hand size. Petite women use this phone as well as large men.
Just because one person has large pants or large hands doesn't mean a person of equal size will find this phone comfortable/uncomfortable for them.

What's next, "does this phone fit well in your pocket next to the crotch, I have a 27" penis."

Probably not even an intentionally comedic post, but in it's entirety, that was the funniest post I have ever read on a message board. Well done.

hahahahahhahaha....This thread is classic!

OK in all seriousness , I'm a pretty big dude, not tall at all, only 5'5...but I was a competitive power lifter and bodybuilder some years back and happen to have pretty big hands, I happen to like the note 2 and its size. It has absolutely nothing and I mean nothing to do with how tall you are when getting this phone. What matters is if you like using a BIG phone or not? My lady could use my note 2 if she really wanted and she's only about 5'2.

Now if your a dude and you do wear skinny jeans then yes this phone is going to look really ridiculous in your pockets. But if you wear normal jeans, like Mavi, DKNY, Gap, Buffalo, True Religion, etc...Then honestly you will be fine no matter how tall you are or how much you weigh....
