Google Now is annoying me

never seen a news card either. And I've only once seen a card for my championship team (sheff wed) after an FA cup game. It seems the league isn't important to google now! I guess we're outside the US and not folowing premier league teams so don't get the full deal. I still keep checking it in the hope one day it'll get better!

Its shows up with every Tottenham Hotspur game, with the scores being updated constantly throughout the match. Other than that, the weather and directions home it doesn't show me anything else. Its supposed to show tracking numbers for packages (through gmail) but its never worked.

If its draining your battery like mad, head to Google maps > settings > location settings and turn location reporting off.

I find Google Now to be extremely useful, and for the few things I don't use I just disable them in the settings.

We get tons of packages here at the house, and UPS never knocks on the door (they just toss the boxes on the steps). Thankfully I know when packages are delivered since Google Now tells me. Saves me from running up and down the stairs every few minutes to look outside for packages.

My boyfriend works out of state, so every week there's plane information I have to keep track of. Google Now does this for me and I know when/if his flight is delayed before he does.

I also love the nearby events card. Let's me see if something interesting is happening (concerts, comedy shows, sporting event etc) that we may wish to go to on the weekends.

All in all I rather enjoy Google Now. Sure it needs polishing, but considering it's still a fairly new app I think they've done outstanding.

If you like it and use it - fine.
I don't need it.
I'm home all day - Even when I work, I stagger hours to avoid traffic.

I don't like to eat out or local entertainment except the minor league bb team, and they have a web page.
There's nothing in this town I really want, so I shop online.

My daughter is in England, and Viber works just fine. I've kept her phone line, so all she has to do on arriving in the US is pop in the American SIM and call or text.

I can find my way to a favorite location without the help of maps, gps as there
usually isn't another route besides a highway from here to there. We can make our own reservations. Gives the Vulcan something to do. When the town only has one main street, you can't get lost. Phone service can be spotty depending on where you are anyway.
