Ive just installed next launcher and was wondering if anyone else is running it?, how do you find battery life with it, can I now force stop or remove touchwizz to save battery etc? This is on my tab2 but I sure its generic and jll prob use it on the s3 if I get the rigbt answers..

From what I remember, you probably don't want to try & delete the system launcher. The S3 has plenty of memory & if it's set as the default, you'll never even know the stock launcher is there- why do it if you really don't need to?

If you have to factory reset, and you somehow managed to remove touchwiz, you just made your device unusable.

I think it's more like the Shell 3d launcher, and costs just as much, too. For $15 I'd want to be able to scroll through the screens telepathically lol.

to be honest, it adds nothing for me to go launcher that I need. I wouldn't even swap from Normal Go Launcher Ex if it was free.

All tehse new fangled launchers only have gimmicks. None of them really add any functionality that I would use.

i use GO and havent really had any issues with it. what makes nova better?

Go is great as a free launcher for the features it has but its very old. Until you try a newer launcher you wont notice the difference in speed (i used Go for like 2-3 years) download the free nova, it should let you import the set-up you have on Go and you can always go back to Go, it doesnt dissapear or nuthin. Nova now caches the homescreen so when you press "home" from usin some heavy apps and its INSTANT.. no re-write of the screen.
Basic Nova doesnt have the features of Go like hiding status bar, gestures etc but if you like it, you can upgrade to prime which has all the features and more :)
I NEVER thought id leave Go. I still use thier sms and contacts app.... for now :)

I have been using Action Launcher and it's the first launcher to really take a step outside of what everyone else is doing. It changes they way you use the app draw and I have been finding it a lot quicker to navigate then any other launcher I have used. It's still pretty basic but I am going to stick with it for now.
