This has happen to me, before 4.4 tried to send a picture to my wife's S3 but it works on the nexus 7. Maybe the S3 don't like the nexus

I think you may have something there. The S3 is jealous the Nexus doesn't have Touchwiz and the Nexus is envious of the processor and RAM the S3 is packing. "A family divided" LOL!

It makes no sense as to why it wouldn't work.

The weird thing is that it works from the GNex to the S3, just not the other way. Gonna try again with Quick pic instead of Gallery.

Other than that, I got nothing...

Okay...here's a "weirder" thing

Just got home from work and wanted to test the Beam on my phone with my wife's GNex running Sourcey 4.4 as well.

When I beam a picture to my wife's phone, it shows an incoming beam on her phone but then says "beam did not complete". When she beams to my phone, it works just fine. Tried several different times and same results every time.

And yes...I have triple checked and the same NFC and Beam services are enabled on both.

I got it working. I think the problem had to do with the NFC toggle widget in quick settings. The toggle seems to be a little wonky.

In my settings, NFC was on as well as Beam. My NFC toggle in quick settings was showing off. I clicked it once and it did not turn on...clicked it a second time and it turned on. Then I tried to beam a picture to my wife's phone and success!

My wife did not have the NFC toggle on her phone and I added it to see if I could recreate the problem. When I added the toggle, it was showing off but it did successfully beam a picture to my GNex. Same issue where I had to click two times to get the NFC toggle to show it was on.

Did that all make sense?

Just tried it with the s3 to my phone and nexus 7 didn't work just opens the play store but I can send a picture from my phone or nexus 7 to the s3. That figures I have to share my stuff but she don't have to share hers :-(

I got a google error and i couldnt text every time i tried to use the keybord it forced closed but now its working since i forced stop and cleared cache any ideas why?

When we released 4.2 i made some mistakes in the weather icons in tools for it and it killed the chronus widget if you instlled a couple of the bad zips. they have since been fixed. but im leaving it there for now. just to be safe. as we hadnt pushed images into this app before so we want to make sure it continues to work as we expected and tested.

lock screen. when it is expanded there is also a setting for long press on the lock to unnlock so it continues to be a 1 step. I too think some of the widgets like beutiful hd whatever are better looking on the lock screen. chronus is again an option. a great work by CM that we put our magic into.

Looking into the nfc stuff guys/gals..

camera sounds turn off sound on phone. maybe but not on my list at this time. there are ways to do it.

for the person that wanted to change roms because they didnt want to reinstall.
this rom has nothing special that causes titanium to cause problems it will do the same on every rom.
also that a clean install will produce better results with less bugs than instlling dirty, also not exclusive.
We participate with the users and talk with you all and answer every single question we can.
We also want people to have the experience that we built and tested. and it has shown time and time again that when installing dirty or using titanium to restore there are bugs caused by either of these actions.

and with 4.4 i have seen many posts that installing dirty did not show the speed increase in the overall rom that was experienced afte they installed clean.
We are replacing every app. google when they update they patch apps they arent replacing them. I think thats why they are able to get away with not wiping with updates. but there are many times where you have to go download a rom and it wipes everything when something just cant be ota'd.

We post a change log with each major meaning a x.x build. so people can decide if updating is worth it to them.

plus there are the forums that people will state if things are good or bad.

Hey but hope you enjoy whatever you find i know if your really into tablet mode stuff Paranoid android is the way to go there.

or i know use stock verizon rom than you never have to worry about updates

Oh well it appears the large majority are having a good experience and were happy about that. keep up the info and posts .

BUT AGAIN....PLEASE FILE BUGS , ENHANCEMENT REQUESTS AT THE BUG TRACKER AVAIALBE BOTH IN THE ROM OR IN THE OP HERE. I CANT REMEMBER EVERYTHING I READ WHEN I HAVE TIME TO WORK SO THATS WHERE I GO TO FIRST.

Anyone else having a problem with 4.4 randomly rebooting? I came from 3.2 but I did wipe and clean install. Running standard gapps with stock camera, restored my user apps with TiBu, but only my apps, no system as instructed.
Nothing I can find is making this happen. Any suggestions as to what is causing this?

You might have an app that's gone rogue. Have you installed anything recently that wasn't there when you had 3.2? Made any mods that you haven't made before? I did basically the same thing as you did installing the ROM and haven't had any problems (knocking furiously on wood right now) with reboots. Might be worth looking at...

Come to think of it, yes...it happened when I was using twitter. Was replying to a DM. I'll un install it and re install from the app store.
Thanks, seems like the easy answers always escape me, but I'm a day sleeper and I did upgrade and noticed the problem in middle of "my" night.
Other than the reboot, 4.4 seems pretty tight. 3.2 was just so solid I hated to leave it behind, but HAD to see whats what with the new.

i'm still having issues with my wallpaper on 4.4 that i had on 4.1

after a day or so the wallpaper will either resize so it doesn't correctly fit the screen, or it will go to the stock sourcery wallpaper

i've set image as wallpaper from the browser and also saved the image and sized it myself from the gallery

not a huge deal, just annoying

You using apex? That's one of the reasons I use nova.

For what it's worth...I'm running Nova and haven't seen that issue.

Edit: You can import homescreen data from another launcher...cool!

go to "nova settings" > "backup and import" > select "import"

Yeah I had a lot of bugs with apex, and they kept disabling my pro key too and took 2 weeks to restore it after I emailed them. Idiots. Never had issue one with nova pro.

Can I just flash it over my old gaaps? Have the 12-12-12 standard one on there now
