So, once again I'm having tablet problems hrrrmph. I ordered my Nexus 10 32GB from Amazon by a seller named Eastern Market. Btw, I thought you could get the 32GB for $499 . It cost me $574. When I got it the seal on the box was broken. Is that normal? It worked great for 3 days. Now it wont come on. It will vibrate when I push the power button and make a noise but that's about it. I have boxed it back up and got a return slip from Amazon. I do love Amazon.

Wal-Mart.com and one was seal was torn. There were no signs of usage and everything is fine with the exception of the freeze/reboot issue.

I've read that broken seals seem to be a common occurrence.

I would recommend purchasing from Wal-Mart or staples as the prices aren't inflated and you can return the device within 15 days, no questions.

Anyone know when they might start selling the 16gb at stores? I'd like the option to return it in case of a dud.

Get on at Amazon: They have them in stock for 499

I don't know if you ever returned anything from Amazon or not, but it is a hell of a lot easier than taking it back to a store. They email you a postage paid shipping label within minutes, and sometimes they credit your account on the spot before they even get it back.
Also, depending on where you live, no sales tax, and if your a prime member, free shipping (2 day) If your not a prime member, shipping is far less than postage. They were out of them when I got my 32, or I would have purchased at Amazon.

Really, they do all of that even when they're not the seller? Sounds pretty good. Only problem is at $499 I'd be paying 32gb prices, and that's really why I want the 16gb. I never use that much space, so it's not worth $100 more.

Thanks for the heads up though, I'll keep my eye on it as prices come more in line.

Hemm, your right about the price. I did not realize that the price was bumped up 100 bucks. That sucks.
But as far as returning stuff, yes it is easy. I think if you buy directly from them, they refund the money right away. If you purchased from a re-seller, they refund the money when they receive the item back. I have sent two items back in the past year and I just checked to see why one was instant and the other was when they receive the product, and that was the difference.

ON the bright side, the Google store will be shipping them in one or two weeks.
