Root [AT&T] Rooting failed

Dunno what happend i did some research on the site watched some YouTube videos and well but the phone into the mode holding volume down home and power went three cycle and did the steps hit start and kept gitting an firmware error. Gonna read some more i guess tomorrow if work isn't to bad.

You don't root this way. You flash ROMs this way. You need to use Odin 3.07 to root. Or go to XDA forums and use the S3 toolkit program.

I was told I was doing it wrong and they told me this. Haven't checked it out yet. Lemme know if ya git it. And ill do the same.

That seems for pc. Anything for Mac?

Seems like the stuff people helping with isn't right. Spending money on apps and they don't do anything.

I was told on xda forums I need to git a pc to root my phone. Can't root this phone on Mac

you don't even need a computer, get the Odin mobile app from the playstore and use it to flash CWM.

your best bet is to get the GS3 root kit from XDA and read the instructions first !

It doesn't work on Mac.
