Google Wallet Installer for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and US Cellular Samsung Galaxy S3.

Requires ROOT, an UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER, and an updated BUSYBOX!(A deodexed ROM is just recommended)

Wallet Installer Is Available For Free For All Supported Carrier Models!

My application, "Wallet Installer", will install Google Wallet on almost any US based Samsung Galaxy S3. It simply edits your build.prop and then places the correct modifications into your system. It downloads all the files from my dedicated server, which is pretty quick. Just select the appropriate Rom type: AOSP, JB Touchwiz, or ICS TouchWiz, and then your carrier: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, or US Cellular. I also added a restore option for your build.prop, so you can restore it after you setup Google Wallet. Hopefully this helps you out and makes the process easier!

Wallet Installer has been updated on the server side. The credit goes to Paul Obrien for the new version! To install it, simply reset Google Wallet, delete it, and then rerun Wallet Installer! Make sure to also have BusyBox installed/updated!

Please consider donating if you feel inclined! I pay for a dedicated server just for you guys to download from : )

V3: No Recovery/More Stable

And as always: I take no responsibility for bricked devices, whether a soft brick or a full on brand new coffee coaster.

Quick question...................my phone now thinks it is a Galaxy Nexus instead of the Galaxy S3. If i go to "about device" it says it is a Galaxy Nexus. My device (S3) actually disappeared in the Google Play store.
Is this because of the build.prop change? How would i go about changing things back to "normal"?

Thanks
That's normal because of the build.prop change.
It will go back to displaying your correct device after you change your build.prop file.
It might take a few days to display your correct device after the build.prop change (mine did). :)

I tried this method and I get an error message on my rooted Galaxy S3 with AT&T. When I installed i chose "JB TW" and AT&T no problems came up when installing.
Error:
"Device not ready"
"Wallet is unable to proceed until this device is fully initialized. Make sure the device has network access and try rebooting if the problem persists."

I've tried:
Force stop, then Clear data for "Nfc Service".
Force stop, then Clear Data for "Wallet".
Power off, then power on.
&
Restarting a million times installing it over again and others.
Please help!

Don't use this installer. Go here and follow the directions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1769083&highlight=google+wallet

And delete this installers apk and uninstall and delete all traces of Google Wallet currently on your phone. (Besides, this installer is already a Wallet version out of date.) We are on the r96 version. This is using r87 version.

I don't appreciate that at all. A PM would have been appropriate if you wanted to update him. Also, I'm about to add support for the new version later today.

It could be because of the network you're using. Try it once with WiFi, and then another time on mobile.

I cant figure out how to un-install wallet. Where uninstall usually is it says disable so i cleared the data force stopped and disable and re-enabled it then went and ran wallet installer. Now the version for it is 1.6-R96-v13. Is that right? Because I'm still getting the same error. Whether its on wifi or mobile.

I don't know if you reset your build.prop yet, but I would recommend doing that. Then delete wallet with a file manager. Then simply rerun Wallet Installer. Hope that helps!

So i can use "your" or "that" way to do it or an easy installer. I went to the XDA thread you posted and it has 290 pages of issues to read through and one clearly needs to be somewhat of a geek/dev to use this.

NO thanks.................will stick to this way. :)
