"I Put The D In DROID"

Catalyst V2 Nightlies!

The Catalyst has begun, Bionx is evolving and its finally here for Droid Razr owners! Catalyst is the Sequel rom to Bionx Nx (one of the best stock based roms for the Droid Razr)

Catalyst is labled as a Powerfull, Multimedia, HD Power rom run by the new Bionx Dashboard. The Bionx Dashboard was introduced in the final update for Bionx Nx users. Than, it was new layout for the Bionx app. Now, its a powerfull toolkit that replaced the Bionx app that now runs the whole rom. Much approved by LG Spectrum users who were the first to try the new toolkit. Eventually, the Bionx Dashboard will be open sourced once its complete, so that other devs can port to other devices. Droid 4 owners, ask a dev to contact me if you wish a port.

Time to move one...

REQUIREMENTS
Your Droid Razr MUST be updated to the latest OTA Jellybean update/kernal! Safestrap 3.11 must be installed to install. A rom slot must be cleared and ready for rom installation. Average Android Intelligence.

This rom was intended for Cdma devices.

Did u flash the gsm patch prior to booting? Their will be bugs present in a gsm patched build and without a gsm developer working with me, itl be hard to work with ur devices to.

if I used a patch gsm, as in the other versions Bionix,
and no signal problem in the least,

I have the same patch used in other versions Cdma JB and I have that problem

but my preference for this rom makes me insist on it

repeat if the problem just me having deleted my partition by cid, I apologize

Just got this running a few hours ago and everything's pretty smooth so far. Got 4G right away. Got a token error when trying to set up email at first. Security settings in the dashboard force closed. That's all I've found, but I really haven't had time to dig to deep(at work). Will have fun playing with this in the morning. Excellent work as usual Biotic.

Some feedbacks:

1. Xperia Z launcher need to be updated to latest version otherwise many widgets are unable to use → solved by flashing the newest launcher pack

2. Bonix security-guard fc when trying to add a code to file.

3. Walkman Music Info FC → solved by Remove SemcMetaDataCleanup.apk

I thought that was the problem but wanted to make sure it wasnt just me. Thanks for the heads up.

I just want to clarify, it works great in GSM, patch,
the mistake was mine, had Chinese jb kernel, switch to Verizon and it works perfect

great great job friend
strange indeed only their toggles

Glad you figured everything out. Did you just use tutorials or just mess around with patches? Links? Future References for GSM users?

I was considering either making the settings.apk hidden and add an actionbar shortcut in the Bionx Dashboard or add Bionx Dashboard activity in Settings. I want a different approach to things in this rom. Their are way to many roms with the same approach.

I have to update the Xperia Z launcher mod with Xperia Widget support. Right now, i suggest users just to install another launcher.

The walkman Player needs patched to support Beats Bravia support. We love Beats but amplification/clarity is even better. Beats is currently not installed. Sony audio is.

Im trying to get Sonys Timescape to integrate properly. (Infinite View is the beginning) Full Social Networking integration and file sharing. (As a Xperia owner, I want to try and port Sonys UI and features)

Connected devices is way to allow ur device to play and share multimedia to other devices connected to your home network. For instance, I can play Breaking Benjamin on my device or stream it to my Xbox 360 with music information. I attempted a port but it seems to have a hard time processing some requests. Any input is appreciated.

I just threw in Icons i found in the MIUI theme manager. Next build will have a better/main theme. (Im a MIUI dye hard fan...)

OTA updater needs activated. I threw in support and built the app from source. This may affect GSM users when an update comes through.

The active links in Bionx Dashboard located in the Changelog Viewer are for users to guide them for assistance/support

The transparent MMS was given to me by a supporting member, I do not know its original developer or origin so i will be deleting it and replacing it with a known source. Probably with the JB version if i can find it or do it myself.

Inverted GApps were suggested to me by a supporting member as well and gave me a zip to use. I believe i found the source so i credited them. Correct me if im wrong.

The Android Settings is not complete. Some may have noticed some icon mismatches or theme quirks. Im attempting a couple of tweaks in the apk itself to provide more options and performance boost.
The system itself is a mess. I need to make corrections to label the rom Stable. Idk how it booted myself but since it did, i released it. Cons to my mistakes may cost battery life at the most. I didnt have time to make corrections but will do in next build.

I believe this rom will boot on a droid 4 with a JB kernel and user layout changes.

XDA users can find a similar thread at XDA for this rom in the Droid Razr development section.

Gotta love Breaking Benjamin!, plus the streaming would be a good idea and a nice thing to have. If you get beats bravia working definitely add it because I am positive that it worked in the ICS build of your ROM. Can't wait to try this out eventually when it is stable. I am rooted on JB but haven't flashed a single ROM yet. Only problem I have with inverted gapps is that they aren't always updated to their newest version and it won't install an updated apk because of the fact that it is inverted. Besides that, really looking forward to this
