Most not all............ and at the rate Android is going Android will out perform IOS (Probably on the cutting edge end phones but if you take price into consideration its fair game)

I'd love to put the iPhone 6 up against the HTC M7 or even the Nexus 4.

Apple lost a lot of their creativity when Steve Jobs died. It will be interesting to see if they are still willing to take risks.

I actually own a iPhone and iPod before I came to android and I I would say android is better than iOS the only thing I think apple got over android is how updates roll out well that's actually manufacturers not android but whatever. I always said apple is starting to run out of ideas when they start copying android just like the notification bar. I can come up with lots of different ways to display notifications. I saw a article that said something about apple use to dominate hardware wise but now we are moving towards cloud services and wirless stuff and that's where android dominates.

If HTC drops all support for this phone couldn't we petition them to release all the source files and drivers so that the devs could keep this phone alive.

We could always try but the chances are pretty much non existent because of proprietary information, the Triumph wasn't supported from day 1 and source has never been released. :rolleyes:

I only give Steve Jobs credit for the iPhone's concept, nothing more. I certainly wouldn't call him an innovator more than I would call him a businessman. His tactics were

-Think of something... anything!
-Attempt to patent everything (no matter how rediculous)
-Sue (Even if the technology wasn't being used)

I've heard he was pretty hard on Apple employees too, but I still believe that he was the creative spark behind Apple's innovations. We'll see how they do without him.

He was convinced that Android was a knockoff of iOS but this article seems to prove otherwise.

IPhone only needs a dual core to run IOS really smooth and longer battery life with half a ram or Gb even with a single core can run it smooth, android need like 4 or 8 cores with a 2 gb of ram to run the OS smooth as like IOS as far of the battery they will never get it right like apple, and no I'm not an apple fan boy don't get mad when I said those stuff its just honesty and truth, I do love how Apple Run things Steve jobs was really an innovator he change the Cell phone industry, and I also do believe that the iPhone is the top of the line, the iPhone is clearly perfect as it is right now as far of the notification they did not steal it they reinvented, make it look better, the only thing I give props for android(Google) is for making the phone cheaps

And yes Android is a stolen product, Google for some reason got jealous or something they decided to buy Android, make it good which is good to bring competition for apple for them to make great ideas for they product

so that makes it stolen? no, that means Google bought out the company developing Android, and continued its development, nothing stolen here

Wow!

I'm only going to comment on one thing from your stream of consciousness which is "I also do believe that the iPhone is the top of the line, the iPhone is clearly perfect as it is right now".

If the iPhone was made by anyone else it would be called clunky looking, limited in capability and too proprietary, but I guess the Apple logo is enough to make it "perfect". :thinking:

having also been an iphone user. I had to jailbreak and unlock to do what the normal android phones could do stock. (had a company bought 3gs for years)
the iPhone is far from perfect, Android isnt perfect either mind you, but at least its open enough that things can be changed. without having to jump through hoops. Jobs didnt innovate as much as one thinks. anyone ever see the Movie "Pirates of Silicon Valley"? its a must watch, tells the story of Microsoft and Apple, with the actors for Balmer and Woz telling the story. Apple didnt innovate they imitated, stole, etc... I loved when they went after Microsoft for copying the Lisa/Mac interface for the first Windows (didnt look that similar really), esp after Apple got the idea for the windows, mouse, and icons from Xerox.

I wish there was more standardization of hardware in Android, but with such an open platform, that's impossible. How many different Android phones hit the market each year? 100? How many iPhones hit the market each year? 1?

As you can see, making 1 phone work flawlessly is easier than making 100 phones work flawlessly. I'd like to see audiocontrols hardwired into the micro USB port on all Android devices so that we can get more docking stations. I'd also like to see a Lifeproof case for more Android phones. It's hard to make Lifeproof cases for 100 different phones each year. It's quite easy to make 1.

For these reasons, I feel Apple has an edge. But I'm still not getting one

From what I herd Steve jobs didn't invite the mac or whatever like some of yal say he basically saw something payed for it and made it a lot better just like Michael Jackson didn't make the moon walk but saw some street dancers doing it thenhe started doing it and made it look smooth......same goes for apple. Apple isn't terrible or fake or whatever but they not better than android. I don't think android was a stolen idea. Steve jobs never planned on using flash like android and all that stuff. He just mad because somebody from his company left and made a better product

What about Android ?, look how Manny companies is on android and making phone for google none of them make there own OS, Android catch people attention because its cheap, and you can do customization that's all nothin perfect and about the apple logo of course everybody gonna said that's a good company, why because of there products are really good, I know its not cheap but look, it have a reason

I've seen the movie, it's really inspiring from Steve jobs, but I wanna said somethin why does everybody wanna copy Apple then ? I can clearly see there jealous, Why because Steve jobs made the OS,mouse, or anything you bring up Better,Sure he stole somethings but look, he made it better, how it was supposed to work, for me I called that innovator, visionary, and a crazy guy that change the world I love that, from cell phones, computer, OS,Tablets I can't wait to see if they can change the Television industry as right now only good phone is an IPhone

wow the iPhone is the ONLY good phone. I've never herd anybody say that well iPhone is a awesome and all but android phones are far more better apple decided to take features from android and nobody gonna convince me they didn't . I've had the iPhone and ipod and I don't see what apple has over android at all accept updates...but we all have opinions

What are the features that people keep sayin that beat apple ? And also what features that apple took from android I have an android I like it but the battery doesn't last long as my iPod and it doesn't run smoothly, it need to be overclock to run smooth and also it said, soo called dual core but when you get the phone it doesnt have the second core on why ? And the bad thing is kills the battery a lot
