Hi All,

I have the E400 L3, and have previously rooted it using the batch file method, with no problems. I then thought I would try and upgrade the ROM to the CM9 ICS release... I ended up with the same old blurry screen / pixel issue that is commonly reported with this phone and this release. I was unable to resolve the blurred screen, so after my phone ended up bricked, I ran the KDZ and reloaded stock ROM. Eventually got the hang of it and my phone is back to a serviceable state once again, however, now when I try to run the root batch, on the same PC, to the same phone, with the same cable, it now fails... I get the below through the CMD window, and I cannot resolve it...

I have tried to reinstall the drivers, run it on another PC, and tried the SuperOneClick and it wont have it...

Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue, or once you flash the STOCK ROM back to it, are you doomed to a life of unrooted phone?

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

SO I downloaded the Android Root Toolkit (by SCARY ALIEN). Having used it to check the status it advises :

Device Info: 7x27 / e0 / e0_open_eur
Bootloader: unknown
Maker: LGE
Model: LGE-E400
Carrier: O2-UK

Device does NOT appear to have root!

/System: mounted R/O
/ (rootfs): mounted R/O

Saved root: NOT present
The phone no longer shows the Super User Icon with the Eye Patch Android.

Oh and also I dont have the SDK, but if necessary I can get it.

thanks again for the reply, I reinstalled superuser, but phone still advises no root. i will later try a temp unroot through SU then re-root with batch, unless you have any more appropriate suggestions?

thanks.

How do you reinstall superuser? Try to install Superuser or superSu via recover. This method also push other necessary files.
