Oh ok, thanks for the quick response tdev. And I saw that guide, it is very helpful! Now just to find the autoadjust settings for brightness, I haven't found sensor control yet.

I just flashed the 4.5.6 patch and settings>about phone>sourcery version is still showing 4.5.5

download facebook from the market

Get root explorer, fantastic file manager... then go into the system folder and delete the facebook.apk.

I tried messing around with the widget but it only added a clock.

Apparently this is some all-in-one thing (as I understand it) that adds the clock and any incoming messages or e-mails. You can put it on your lockscreen. There is a warning when activating it that says this widget can read all your stuff. Well I don't know enough about that widget to give it those permissions... so I think I'll pass for the moment

I just completed my second install of the night. I was a bit behind but now I'm up to date. Had to do a second install because neither theme had gmail icons (yes, I'm that picky) and the stock theme didn't restore completely. Thankful for TiBu tonight!
That being said, I love the Sourcery team!!!

ok it says it deleted and even grant root but its still there?? i tried a whole bunch of times ?? i even rebooted it still there wth

Look in data/app and see if there is anything with facebook in it and delete that

i saw facebook.apk and i hold it down and a menu comes up and i choose delete and it says its deleted but its still there??

do a search using root explorer... search for facebook.....
delete all entries to it

never had any trouble deleting an app before

Is there a way to make the message coming in private on the stock app? I know GoSMS had it but I was hoping to keep just stock on this

That is the latest rom, plus a patch to it in the experimental section

Sexting at work again? :eek:

There are a few settings to not show the quick reply and to not show in the notification areas... .I haven't tried them so don't know how well they work
