Help Screen Not Turning Off After Inactivity

My phone got the sudden death that most people seem to be getting, went off for repair for a MONTH, came back and the home button didn't work and SD card wouldn't mount. (Don't even bother using the EE warranty guys, they're useless.)

Anyway, fast forward to today, 2 months and 2 days since the sudden death happened and I have my phone back and all seems good.

I have one problem at the moment though, I have the turn screen off after 15 seconds of inactivity, however the screen doesn't seem to want to turn off!

I've tried doing a hard reset, this seems to fix it for a very short period then it starts again.

There's 2 spots to check for the timeout:)
One is under display, the other is under Accessibilty settings.
Make sure they both are the same:)

Thanks dude, they're both set to 15 seconds but it still seems to be causing problems.

I deactivated the 'Smart Stay' and it seems to be fixed now, shame really as I quite liked that feature before but now it seems to think my eyes are everywhere!

Software prob then.
Ive never used smart stay and always have my screen set to 10mins time-out. I use an app that turns the screen off when i close my flip case or put the phone face down so im in habit of just doing that.
On other phones i always had time-out at max and got into the habit of turning the screen off manualy.
sorry thats not much help mate. Is it worth doing a factory reset to see if it fixes smart stay?
Oops. I see youve already done that. Im stumped man sorry
