I'm ready to jump on the GB08 wagon - coming from GA10 - what is a easy one click install method (i.e. no flashing a special recovery or w/e ) with root for GB08?

Im running touched rom gb08 modem its rockin a few steps needed to load it but its fast 3g and 4g work lile they shpuld and has great battery life

Now that makes more sense..

One question.. I see that they have a preconfigured wifi app that has to be flashed in thru recovery..after I put touchedrom.zip on will the recovery still work so I can add the wifi app? Or will I have to re odin the el29directbootcwm? Also, can I use the one click el29directbootcwm before I load touched or do i have to do a manual odin?

Recovery will be good till reboot yes bottom of that page is the modem u need

So I can add the wifi app in the same recovery after i put touched in? I don't have to wait to let touched rom load for the first time?

I flashed it ans the boostmobile mms fix without letting it boot and it was fine

I did all these steps and got it running but the 3g is reallllly slow and the battery is dieing fast..am I doing something wrong? I m missing ga10 alrdy

With a root explorer go to system/etc/intd make all 3 rwrwex

I just hopped back TW and here is my thoughts.TW has a louder radio output than BB,also so many features I missed such as direct call and what not.Also BB has terrible video play back,the sound is very choppy. I ripped the teamed keyboard from BB and use it on TW.Now where BB stands out is that MMS app! I can't get it to work on TW,I think that is the best MMS app so far and I also like the status bar and drop down tweaks on BB.If I can find a way to get them to work on TW then TW to me will be the best rom hands down.

Ahh all those things you said apply to all aosp roms.. horrible blotchy video. Lower speaker output. Camera isn't as clear looking...idk why. I've complained to the devs. They act like they don't know. But it's not just bb... and some things from tw don't work on aosp that I really like... and vice versa. If those little annoying issues were fixed on aosp you would never catch me on a tw Rom

I'm on gb08 rooted with tegrak over clock to undervolt, Dual cpu sleeper and juice defender and have 24 hours with 48% left. I also like to features so I think I stick with this

Currently on the Touched by SGSIII (GB08). Smooth, everything works, and good battery for me. Will keep this one for a while.

I looked into the touched by a S3 rom,and all it's just a stock rom with mods already added. I much prefer to chose which mods to add myself so ko's deodex rom is perfect for the do it yourself person,also I find that rom redundant cause the way Samsung set it up the S2,S3,and the note all look the same rom wise.....if only we could get that S pen though....

Anyone have the link to the 3g hack? I'm on gb08 stock root but would like to remove proxy or whatever the hack does to make it faster

The 3g hack should be added to the one stop
