Try GetRIL app. U can download latest RIL for LSD.

Anyone seeking a Jelly Bean modem+RIL combo for LS6, from leaked LSJ ROM, or LS8, from LS8/LSD/MS1 ROM's, can download from Hawker's xda thread, here.

After a bit of a disaster on the Dorimanx kernel, 7.48, I flashed a known, good, combo to my phone of NEAT ROM Full LSJ and Siyah kernel 6.0beta4.

Hey everyone,

Im running LS8 NeatRom Lite v4.2, using Jeboo kernel v1.3+ and having lots of battery pulls due to different things freezing up, like the keyboard, facebook, twitter, and WhatsApp.

Is it still the general consensus that LSD is the best NeatRom Lite to use? I thought I read a post where the MS1 has actually regressed? Is this true?

Im sick of my phone freezing, so I just want a good jellybean rom and kernel that I dont have to mess with, and that I can flash the aroma mods too as well as the gallery fix and crt off mod.

Can I flash the ROM right over what I have without factory resetting?

As most people on here will testify they are not having any issues with Neatrom. Therefore I would personally recommend that if you are have problems, then doing a full wipe/reset, wipe cache and delvik cache before flashing may sort your problems out.

Also try running the phone firstly for a day or so without flashing any of the mods and see how the phone runs.

When I installed this 3 or so weeks ago, I did a rom nuke and a kernel wipe. That can't be the problem.

When I moved from the PhilZ kernel that comes with the rom, I also did another kernel wipe before installing Jeboo.

I ran this rom without the mods for a couple days, and I still noticed then that there was a freeze-up or two.

Im to the point now where Im ready to change the rom to the best NeatRom available, but I dont want to factory reset the phone yet again if it isn't required. If it is required, I'll be annoyed, but I'll live. I just want to start out fresh on a known working combination.

Lsj, the leaked jelly bean, is seen by a lot as being the most stable. Personallyhave never had any issues with this version, and still gets loads of love on xda.

Siyah beta 4 kernel works very good, jury is out on beta 5.

As always you'll ask 10 different people and probably get 10 different answers, but neat lsj and Siyah beta 4 is a retired and tested combo and performs very well

Even better news, for me, is that Hawker's 23 toggle, Blue Circle battery, Transparent Notification bar mod is such a tart that it works great on MS1... no grovelling to the soggy moggy needed by me!

Now for some serious testing for both NEAT ROM Full MS1 and Siyah 6.0beta5.
