Help Plugging in charger cuts off mobile data

Hey everyone,

I'm going a little crazy trying to find any info on this but my searches of the interwebs has found nothing.

So, every time I plug in my charger, it turns off the mobile data. I have to physically go into the settings and turn it back on. Has anyone noticed this? I use my phone in the car a lot and need to charge it and it's a bit annoying to have to go through this manually... or if I forget to turn it on.

Any thoughts?

Do you have any 3rd party task, battery or profile manager apps installed?

When I first got my GS3 I was always using the task manager and killing apps. I would also use the RAM manager and clear it all the time . I kept experiencing problems and slow downs. I have finally stopped using those and letting Android take care of it and I am having a much better experience .

I don't know if ATK is causing your issues, but getting rid of it is definitely the first thing I'd try.

Is there maybe a setting that turns on wifi when connected to a charger or something?

First: thanks for the info on ATK, I never thought about it that way.

Second: I figured I would give it a day or so to see if it would resolve after I uninstalled (and reset) the phone. Unfortunately it didn't.

As far as it being a setting for the phone: One thing I've had a hard time with is just how many option settings there are for EVERYTHING (although I like it, just a lot to learn and go through). I think I've searched every possible setting I can and I haven't found anything in relation to that.

I dunno, stumped.

A reset really should have fixed it if its user-fixable.
Yeah at 1st it seems like theres too many settings in Touchwiz but if youre in any way geeky you end up wanting more lol
