LTE on Boost and Virgin Mobile, phones on sale today

Be nice if they raise the throttle threshold to 3.5 GB for LTE phones.

Got the Evo v 4g was one of the first to get it due to preordained. Seeing how this is vm it will be on sale in 4 months plus it's not a wow phone. I get pretty good wimax in my city (don't use it though) and I'm barley getting a year on this phone. Not to mention it's just as fat as the 3d and lacks battery life. I would like to see the evo lte for $250 or I will be switching to tmobile when the rumored nexus 5 comes or the white nexus 4 on may.

Lol I was one of the first to get the Evo V when it first came out and that was a big ordeal to get it but that paled in comparison to getting the nexus 4 on the second wave (11/27).

I discovered the link went live about 25 minutes early on the first wave but still couldn't manage to get one. A white one would be nice. I'd get a case ASAP tho, I'm extremely careful with my phones and the back still got a bunch of micro scratches.

I have the official bumper case and although it is really nice, it makes the phone feel too wide. Just got this one and I'm liking it way better. Buttons are harder to press but the phone isn't super wide feeling and the back glass is protected. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00B7QGT6U/ref=mp_s_a_1?qid=1361812859&sr=8-3&pi=SL75

I jumped on T-Mobile and then to Straight Talk. I might go back to T-Mobile once LTE is permanently on. I caught a test run LTE signal right before I switched to Straight Talk here in Vegas.

No LTE in the Los Angeles Metro? WTH?

Sprint's most recent press release states, "The network team continues to build and test the new network across the country, including areas like San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York. Customers report they are already finding a 4G LTE signal in these places, and we look forward to providing even more reliable access to the data they need with our official launches."

If you search the web, you will find pictures and videos of people in Los Angeles connected to Sprint LTE. It sounds as if the LTE upgrade is in progress but they don't have enough areas in LA covered yet to add it to the coverage map. I expect LTE in Los Angeles to officially go live in the next month or two. While there are a large number of towers to upgrade in LA, the reports of the first towers going live are from October. Though, even after Sprint officially announces LTE, it may be a few months before all the towers have been upgraded.
