- I went to that casino in Monaco for a vacation several years ago and it really is insane. Spend 5 minutes there and a Bentley becomes boring and commonplace compared to all the other Ferraris and Lambos.
- The best sighting ever was on a trip in Italy, I was on a bus on the hwy maybe 1hr away from Modena and I'm bored out of my mind. All of a sudden this red F430 FLIES by the bus, with that exhaust note. That was cool.
- Porsche 911 slantnose? Doesn't matter if it was the real deal or not, but I was driving cross country in a E39 530i, which is like the perfect car. It was the first luxury/performance car I had driven and it was fast. On the highway, 100mph was easily achievable and you could easily hit go to jail speeds effortlessly. Well this slantnose 911 pulls up next to me as he's trying to pass on the highway, he's just passing at a few mph above me. Obviously I'm looking at this car and we both make eye contact and the road was wide open, so we both gunned it. I knew the 911 was going to beat me, but I wondered how badly. I wondered how fast this old 911 would be since I've always seen them driving slowly at a golf course or something. I gunned it, I mean I put the pedal down, deep down into the floormat. Get ready to fly! Umm... no. This Porsche was moving 1, 2, 3 carlengths ahead and farther away from me. Then I saw it- the whaletail. Yeah, that'll be turbo then. Game over. The best way I can describe it is if he went WOT and I slammed on the brakes. That's how fast I felt like I was going. I couldn't believe it and looked at the speedo- 60-70-80-90-100-110. I was moving, but the Porsche was on a totally different level. He slowed down and it took me several seconds to pull up next to him. I gave him a thumbs up. He then smiled and blasted past me again. Fast, fast car. The acceleration on that was simply amazing.
