I need help i am trying to root my gfs htc rezound and the toolkit is not working the kit is not picking up the device, no commands work i have installed and uninstalled drivers i dont know what to do,

I cannot help with the toolkit,I've never used it. I'd be more than happy to help with the manual guide,if you wish to go that route. The guide is stickied at the top of the page,just holler if you have questions. 
Speaking very generally,device is not found from a driver issue,USB debug not enabled(adb devices only),or a usb cable/port or something running on the pc issue. Make sure you're not using a USB hub,and no USB 3.0
