You could take my word or don't but the majority of what Jackson stated is correct. I wish I could state my reasons more clearly, but let's just say I could explain the phone quality if I wanted to for months now.

One thing that I do know is, this huge Sprint media blitz might not happen this Friday. Hopefully, I've heard wrong.

@bemis and river: Just agree to disagree. I want both of you to continue attributing to the section in a more positive way, like I know you could. It doesn't matter what WiMax is, as we all are going to use it together.

Thanks, andiron. I hope we can get past this now. It seemed more like the Incredible forum than the EVO 4G for awhile. I even suspect this person re-registered as someone else so he could flame on more and if that is true, it's against the forum rules.

If you deal with people in the dev/IT community these attitudes are not shocking. This is why ever messageboard just have a fighting section where flame wars are encouraged...and any type of fighting outside of that is quickly killed by mods. Just my two cents.

Now to the person who posted the inventory...COME ON! Give us more!

Hahaha not this again!?

I told everyone the exact launch date of the phone back in februaru and that came true, i said there would be a video out with a man wearing gloves in two weeks, and it came out exactly then. I also said the phone my ship with 2.5 but it def had 2.1. I was also the FIRST person to say it had an 8mp camera. A front camera too at that. So yess with all of this info coming on feb, i do know what i am talking about, as everything up to this time has been 99% correct, AMOLED is the only thing i have still yet to get confirmation on although i am almost 100% sure its LCD

since its a slow news day... noone else metioned or posted this but i noticed on twitter yesterday that someone from sprint was posting about "Did you see the HTC EVO 4G at CTIA? Kansas City employees seeing and hearibg... Dan Hesse talking to employees about Sprint 4G and Overdrive and EVO 4G device. Packed house!!"

also said something about "Demos open to all employees now!"

all these post came with pics also..

Nice article. It doesn't seem like too huge a deal, but good to know nonetheless. This make me want 2.5 on the EVO even more, as hopefully the update will fix the issue.

There are noo screen problems, because its LCD. Its that AMoled that meses things up. Last time Dan saw the device which was right before CTIA it was still running 2.1 so no confirmation on 2.5 yet. It would make sense to me tho for it to have it. They will spend more time trying to fix 2.1 for 4G than just skinning it with 2.5
