[ROM][4.2.2][JDQ39][03/06/2013] CM10.1 for SPH-D710VMUB

Are you saying that you extracted the apk from the rom and reinstalled voicemail.. I tried this and I'm still getting the dreadful voicemail error.

Well.. first I restored mu voicemail apk backup with titanium, the voicemail bug went away but after reboot the voicemail app disappeared. Apparently my titanium backup of it was the odexed version of voicemail apk.

So I opened up the rom zip with root explorer and copied/pasted the voicemail app into the system/app folder. Changed permissions to match other system apps and nowit works. I dunno. I think it is the restored data from the previous voicemail app which fixed it? It confuses me but that's what I did :)

I just flashed 03/06 ROM. Great and smooth, loving it so far. I appreciate all your effort! I have noticed that my camera has stopped working, the famous "gallary has stopped working." It was working when I first flashed, and using the cm10.1 GAPPS. Does anyone know a work around, I don't really like using third party camera apps.

Has anyone had trouble with slow data, or is it just me?

Once again, I really do appreciate your hard work, thanks!

Installed 0306 version. The graphical glitches in the default android keyboard seem to be fixed, not that I cared too much about it since I use Swype... ;P

Overall seems a bit more responsive. Unfortunately none of my issues seem to have been fixed. I still occasionally see homescreen flash just before lock screen comes up when waking up the phone. The screen off animation randomly goes away. The wake up times are still inconsistent, volume rocker wake up works at first after a reboot, but then stops working. And most importantly GPS is still not working. I will try to ODIN flash a stock rom, obtain a lock, and then reflash CM10.1, as that seems to be the way to fix it according to xda?

Several questions.
1. Out of curiosity, is the latest 0306 build based on Cm10.1-m2?
2. Can I use older GB modems with this? I want to see if flashing GB modem fixes GPS?

GPS works fine for me... and instantly. Might wanna full wipe, reinstall? Format cache, data, system, wipe dalvik etc

Yes this is based on the latest CM10.1 4.2.2 source. And GB modems should work, although I'm not to sure it would help with the GPS as its not governed by the modem and radio interface to the best of my knowledge. Did you perform a full wipe when flashing this build of the ROM?

For those of you encountering the gallery has stopped message:

Is it when opening from the lock screen, becuase I had this in a previous expiremental build of mine, and found it was resolved by doing a factory reset and starting from scratch, because I had flashed that build without a data wipe. I also encountered random lags and so forth.

So if you are encountering some issues, do a full wipe, reflash and see if that doesn't help out with the problems!

I do the following every time I flash a rom:
1) wipe data/factory reset
2) wipe cache partition
3) advanced > wipe dalvik cache

On at least one occasion I also did the following prior to flashing:
4) mounts and storage > format /cache
5) mounts and storage > format /system
6) mounts and storage > format /data

Nothing helps the GPS issue. Am I supposed to do anything else besides those steps?

What modem are you using?

Hey Britton, any way you can upload you voicemail apk thru drop box or something.. I'd like to give it a shot

The voicemail apk I'm using is from this ROM.. I just restored the data (not the apk) from the previous version with Titanium. That data contained saved voicemails so I'm not sure that would be a good idea.

Brandon, any insight on this? :)

I did the following:
1) wipe data/factory reset
2) wipe cache partition
3) advanced > wipe dalvik cache

Installed ROM [4.2.2][JDQ39][03/06/2013] + Gapps 4.2.2

Everything seems to be working fine for me, However i've noticed 3 bugs so far.

1) Settings > Launcher > Drawer > Orientation > Vertical:
When applied and opening the app drawer when you attempt to slide it, it will flicker and jump erratically from top to bottom.

2) Settings > Display > Rotation > Auto-rotate screen:
Is well lets say being quite Difficult, not as sensitive as it was before only working about 20% of the time for me, the screen wont rotate in Video Player, Gallery, Home Screen or anywhere in general.
Solution: Disable - Settings > Launcher > General > Auto-rotate screen.
As this interferes with Settings > Display > Rotation > Auto-rotate screen.
They were both Enabled so that's what caused my poblem.

3)"Error v30: voice message will be delivered when data service becomes available"

Haven't gotten a chance to really test GPS. Using FL26 modem

Thanks for the work and new build Brandon.

Rom is running smoothly for me. Mms even works in stock app without issue so far. Data speeds are tolerable but I'm in a shitty 3g area where I live. Haven't tested wifi. Haven't gotten the vvm error others are talking about... But I haven't gotten an actual voice mail yet either.

The only snag I have currently is that my play market won't download apps. I have 10 or 15 all queued up and the progress bars on them just cycle. This may be caused by the fact that I used the gapps build from the last release instead of the one a few posts above. I will test the newer gapps build when I get to work tomorrow and have a real Internet connection.

Haven't had a chance to test gps yet. I may throw it on for my drive to work tomorrow just to test.

Again, thanks for the work on this. I was chomping at the bit for a proper cm build for this device since I bought it before Christmas. Rock on.
